I did not support the phony to start with, and don’t now. His exit means one less RINO, that’s all.

Every revolution evaporates and leaves behind only the slime of a new bureaucracy - Franz Kafka

Looks like that’s what happened to the Republican revolution.

Listening to Mark Levin on WBAP and he quotes Fred Barnes
as stating that Romney should get out to make room for Huckabee.

Jeez !

I agree. McCain and Huck are the two worst candidates we could ever field. I can’t stomach a vote for either.

I know Rush and Levin were tossing their panties onto Mitt’s stage. I lost alot of respect for them this election cycle.

It sure is. Had a discussion with a young woman at my pub tonight (a hottie but a Dem). She crossed over to vote for McCain because she hates Romney. At least she was honest enough to say it was her bias against Mormons. Like you said, it’s that way all the way around. Pretty discouraging to see the giant steps backward this nation has been taking. Bork was right, we are truly slouching towards Gomorrah.

"If Romney drops out, expect Huckabee to drop out soon thereafter."

Not so sure about that, with Mitt out Huckster might just give McPain a run for the money. Once in a life time chance, hard to see Huckster passing it up to play second fiddle to McInsane.

With this lot of candidates it’s “name your poison.”

No best thing is for the GOP Establishment to get their butts kicked in a 1 on 1 race with the Democrats. For the last 15 years they have kidded themselves that the only reason they lost to Clinton Inc in 1992 and 1996 was Perot.

Best if Conservatives don’t give them a rationalization again. Let them find out what happens when the try to be Democrat Lite

There have been primaries and caucuses in all these states. You don’t have to like McCain but I don’t see the basis for a claim that some “GOP establishment” picked the winner. It just didn’t happen that way.

The GOP clearly cannot be fixed.

Time for a new party.

I heard Huckabee say tonight that he and McCain had been running a clean campaign, unlike Romney. Oh please! Where has he been while McInsane has been saying horrible things about Romney?

BTW, I don’t like any of them. I’d rather have Moe, Larry, and Curly than these 3 clowns.

Interesting that Romney is winning ALL the caucuses. Seems the informed voters make a different decision than the sheeple except WV where mccain/hackabee colluded.

Gotta blame Bush some too for the energized Dems and the depressed GOP. His immigration crap turned the entire mood of the electorate. That and not enough war success and his inability to articulate coservatism as he really is a religious moderate.
