"I voted for Fred Thompson today at 6:22 am in New Jersey. And it felt great."You might as well have voted for Donald Duck...
You DID know Fred withdrew, didn't you?

The news keep saying that votes are “worried about the economy”. What a load.

I voted for the best candidate available. I dont care where they are from, what color they are or what sex they are.
Romney fit my criteria

“I hate to admit this, but I believe the kernel of dedicated support for Huck is made to a large extent of those religiously bigoted people who loath Mormonism. Ive tried to largely ignore this faction of our side and I do believe their total numbers are small, but just monitoring feedback on this site, Townhall, and a few others, leads me to believe that they do exist.”
If thats true, its a shame. If someone does not want to vote for Mitt because he is a former liberal governor, thats perfectly fine.
Outside of Texas, Utah is my favorite state, and I may need to retire there in 30 years if Texas goes liberal. I love visiting there. Mormons created a wonderful society, very conservative values that I can respect, and as good as a work ethic as I have ever seen in any group.
When I had my fourth child [actually, the credit goes to my wife, of course], a Mormon friend of mine said that I officially qualified to become a member of his church!

"McCain will lose bad to Obama."Which is why the NYT supports McCain!
Doesn't ANYone else remember how much they liked Bob Dole too?

I wish I could hug you and every other FReeper voting for Mitt today...:) As you know, Joe T. proved that wishes do come true! ...

So the best case scenario is Romney v Hillary, Romney v Obama, McCain v. Hillary or McCain v Obama? I would like to see Romney beat Hillary in the general election but the odds make me nervous.

I wish DH did not pull out before the Florida Primary.. but he did, and I am trusting his judgement at this time.. Would it help if I just send a message to DH that David Osborne was the most blindly loyal of his followers?
