Here we go...
The Democrat nominee needs 2,025 to win.
The Republican nominee needs 1,191 to win.
You heard it right. Thousands of Virginians didn’t know when their own primary was.....pathetic really.
VirginiaMom
that is not fair a candidate can give votes away. who thought that up? its terribly flawed
hate i missed that but my gag reflex prevented me from watching smith any longer

You heard right. I heard in on the local news this morning.
It certainly doesn’t give me confidence that my fellow Virginia voters are particularly smart.
FoxNews’ bottom of screen graphics are hopelessly cluttered and bewildering...
Actually, forgot about Suckabee, you may be right
Cause the GOP to have a spine? Who is the GOP? You act as if there is one person or even a small group that comprises the "GOP" and that if enough of us have a temper tantrum that will convince the "GOP" to fix things.
One has to first understand the problem before suggesting solutions. The problem is two-fold (at least)
(a) lack of strong conservative candidates that can persuade enough people to vote for them
(b) lack of enough conservative voters themselves.
Of course there is the MSM but that is even less fixable. Without a and b we are screwed anyway.
Most people don't even follow politics that closely and get their news from CNN or some favorite site. So Rule no 1 in politics is you have to reach these people and you have to have the votes. And true conservatives don't have enough votes throughout the country. Its a combination of lackluster candidates and a generally politically ignorant population.

Because Jim Jeffords jumped first, apparently. I heard Ann Coulter on a radio show yesterday, and she said that Daschle said in his book (which I seem to have missed!) that just before Jeffords jumped, McCain was in negotiations with the Dems to do that very thing.
In 12 years. McCain looks likely to get the 2008 nomination and picks Hucleberry for VP. They get clobbered by HRC/Barry.
This quickly turns in to a C*F.
Then Mitt gets the nomination in 2012 because we never pick the person. We just default to the second guy in the primaries as the next nominee. And Mitt is the next next.
Imho, John King uses data, not emotion or agenda. There’s something to be said for that in the MSM arena.
I don’t care for that guy either. He tends to babble and babble and not really say anything.
No one is close to Romney regarding the economy either.
The buzz is starting about Arizona...
Virginias primary is February 12
Wait...Does that mean some of them were opened and manned?! ;o)
Waitin’ on your answer to rodguy911.....
RealClearPolitics guy on FoxNews: McCain not running so well in his home state (AZ)
I PRAY you are right! And I pray it is for this election not 4 yrs. from now. I made the mistake of being registered Non Partisan. I couldn’t vote for who I think will be the BEST President in my life time! Mitt Romney! the BEST!
