Serious question. John McCain has a conservative rating of something like 88%. He is a "maverick" who genuinely seems more comfortable working with Democrats. John McCain has dissed conservatives on numerous occasions and authored such abhorent legistaion such as McCain/Feingold. He is for open borders (depending on the day you ask him).
Now, Sam Brownback, Tom Coburn, Phil Gramm, Jack Kemp, Ted Olson, Richard Land, and perhaps Nancy Reagan have either formally endorsed or have voiced support for John McCain? Why are these people endorsing McCain??
Seriously, I cannot grasp this. Why do I have this big disconnect? I do not want John McCain. Why is he being rammed down our throats?
Is it simply "his turn"? Is it because there is no alternative now? Why didn't more people jump on the Fred bandwagon? Do we really want Bob Dole 2.0?
The MSM have had a love afair with McCain as they do with RINOs like Chuck Hagel, Richard Lugar, or any other "Republican" willing to spit on other Republicans. McCain seriously considered switching Parties. McCain was seriously considered as John Kerry's running mate. What's going on?
those are not my leaders.....those are RINOS
They think he’s winning, and they want a job if he’s elected.
No one endorsing John McCain is a real conservative.
The words ‘FEAR’ and ‘INTIMIDATION’ come to mind...
Watch his handler threaten a woman asking about illegals raping children.
Watch McCain stand on stage and say nothing when they tell one of his constituents to "shut up!".
Because the MSM has run off everyone else?
John McCain is the 2008 version of Gerald Ford and Bob Dole.
Is it simply “his turn”?

Yes. That and personal relationships. Probably some feeling that he is going to win and some do not want to be remembered as not being supportive to him after he takes the oath of office.
Bingo
oooh! oooh! oooh!! pick me!!! pick me!!! I know the answer!
they aren’t conservative. that’s why.
I just posted this in another thread. Repeating:
The McCain hate is over the top. Im not especially a McCain fan, Id have preferred Rudy. McCain however at least meets the minimum requirements for a republican president. Since Rudy, Thompson et al didnt win any primaries, unless Romney pulls a rabbit out of his hat today then McCain is your only chance to counterbalance a democrat Senate and House.
Its getting time to get real as Laura Ingraham today noted.
It appears the party establishment wants our selection process over early, while the Democrats are in for a long slog.
Exactly. They are all unemployed and trolling for a cushy well paying Ambassadorship or a judicial nomination etc.
They are also DC dinosaurs, as is McVain.
I second what you have said. Because anyone who is a well-known conservitive, with some exceptions, if they do NOT endorse Sen. McCain, then they are very much AFRAID that he will take REVENGE against them if in the event that if he is elected. Sen. McCain will stoop so low to do just that.
Where was Rush when there were actual conservatives in the race?
Where was Levin?
National Review was all sold out, pimping for their favorite RINO.
There is now a “Swift Boat” type organization opposing John McCain’s run for the presidency. Check it out at:

Counterbalance? LOL!
They are RINO’s looking for jobs!
