Going to be a long night,,, got to have a National Guard 88 jacket, tee shirt and hat before I go to Atlanta. Shopping online is so slow with 26.4 dial up.
Spent 6 years in The Marine Corps, but got to wear 88 National Guard gear.

Thank you Jr, Thank you Mr Hendrick, Tony Jr, TJ Majors and the Dew/Guard Crew!!!!
This is the owner he's been longing for..........
And a BIG thank you to our teammates, particularly JJ who gave us a bad a$$ push to the front!
Right behind and between Jr and Rick is TJ who did a hell of a job on the radio. This was not just a clear, clear night, he constantly updated Jr as to who was where behind him, 2 wide 3 wide, who had a run, who was pushing that car etc. It was like talking a blindfolded person through a maze. Fantastic.

Thanks for the welcome West Coast Gal.
Congrats Jr and all the 88 fans. Jr’s a great plate racer and is always good over the first half of most races. It will be interesting to see what he does next week in the big race.

Well last year the second half of races was mostly bad due to engine failures or a lack of $$$$ in the engineering department R&D setting up the car with the proper equipment that Hendrick has. This car pretty much came off the hauler ready to win. The DEI cars NEVER came off the hauler right and they had to fight with them every race trying to adjust the darn car during the race.

Thanks for the great pics.
Printing a couple now.
That was one happy boy last night.
Great to see all the team support w/ Jeff and Jimmie coming over to congratulate the Hendrick noob. :)
To: WestCoastGal
I knew you’d be a happy camper. The boy really needed this. It’s kind of a vindication, a fantastic way to start his new relationship with Hendrick and the sponsors........ Just a whole lot of people feeling good about this win. And best ofr all, maybe we can get back to seeing some good commercials again........ I hope you did or will get to see the Dale/camel commercial.
