Looks like China is not the only one with problems. The US Pacific Northwest is beginning to structurally fail under an immense and never ending snowfall.

Call the moonbats and Al Goron for help!
Politicians who are repeating the global warming mantra these last years should be regarded as laughable opportunist clowns

Feel for the people of Oregon - like the people of China. Snow is not funny when it comes like this.

Hope we can mobilize the help the people of Oregon need now asap.

I saw watching video from Detroit, Oregon this weekend. Noticed people having trouble with too much snow on their roofs.

Why do they build homes in these snow areas with such a flat pitch?

You’ll have a good laugh reading this story from last Fridays Seatle Times. With our WA Cascades at over 160% of normal this had to be the bad-timing story of the decade...

SHRINKING SNOWPACK A THREAT TO THE WEST
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2004157490_warmwater01.html

Human-caused global warming has been shrinking the snowpack across the mountain ranges of the West for five decades, suggesting the region’s long battle for water will only worsen, according to a computer analysis released Thursday.

As temperatures have increased, more winter precipitation has fallen as rain instead of snow, and the snow is melting sooner, according to the report in the journal Science.

The result is that rivers are flowing faster in the spring, raising the risk of flooding, and slower in the summer, increasing the risk of drought.

“These trends will only intensify over the next few decades,” said Richard Seager, a scientist at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University.

While the decline of the Western snowpack over the past few decades has been documented before, the new study is the most definitive in assigning the blame to human-induced climate change.

The changes will be felt differently in different parts of the West, scientists said.

KGW has the town spelled wrong. It is Idanha not Idahna. I tried it in google maps and it said it couldn't find Idahna and suggested Idanha.

That area is solidly in the Cascades Mountain Range and they are used to Snow. This year has just been REALLY heavy (paging Global warming freaks)! Most of the state by far is totally Normal. What concerns me is the Spring runoff. Its gonna be NASTY this year. I PRAY we don’t get a Pineapple Express, the flooding would be devastating.

We’ve had snow every day for the last 2 weeks. My driveway is blocked by a 7 ft bank of snow from the snowplow. I’m trying to figure out how to get out of here to vote tomorrow!

Let me be the first to predict that the winter of 2009/2010 will be a poor snow year in the Northwest.

Is my reason Global Warming??? Nahhh, Its because of the Winter Olympics in B.C. Murphy’s Law says they will be using their snow making machines. That will be a damn shame too, because Whistler/Blackcombe is one beautiful place to ski when they have good snow.

Wow ... I went through there this last summer ... beautiful country. And there’s a nice mountain lake close by there as well.

Oregon Town Buried Under 7 Feet Of Snow

Town Runs Out Of Money For Snow Removal

A tiny town in western Oregon is trapped under more than seven feet of snow.

Covered rooftops, buried street signs and downed power lines have the city of 200 "on edge," said Idanha Mayor Karen Clark.

"As long as you have the snow piling up to the roofs, and no place for it to go, then that's when their ceilings and roofs are going to cave in on these people," Clark said.

We had 5 inches on the driveway at sunset yesterday (Pocatello, ID). My wife and I shoveled it down to bare concrete and salted it. It was clean, wet pavement at 6 PM. Both vehicles were cleared of snow. My wife went out at 7:45 AM this morning. Another 5" on the driveway and vehicles. There's more in the forecast this afternoon and for the next few days. That will help water supplies this year. My Rat Terriers are almost dragging their chests in the snow now.

It was -30f this morning here in Alaska, still somewhat warmer than normal for this time of year, years ago I would see almost -50F, not much snow either, its actually too cold for snow, we have maybe 24” for the season with about 18” still on the ground.

Is the drought over? Or are they still clinging to the global warming mantra?

I saw there was 10 feet up on Snoqualmie Pass east of Seattle....that is insane...but not a record.

133 percent of average snowpack in the California Sierras also.
