That’s what it seems. Still, Gostowski is not bad, and he usually makes that. Even if he misses, they are only giving away 7 or so yards. Did Bellichick outsmart himself?

I have a question for you about the Patriots.

Is it true that Brady and Moss are backing out of the Pro-Bowl next Sunday?

Yes. Brady has an injury and Moss I have no idea about. Guess he’s being a bitch about losing...

If theu miss it’s 7 yards. If they punt it likely winds up back at the 20. They took a shot into the end zone. No guts, not glory.

Which one?

I think that no matter what a player might think of the Pro-Bowl, if one is selected then one should go. Period. Fans make plans to travel and attend this event, and for a pro athlete to back out like this is showing a lack of good character. Boo-freakin’-hoo; they lost. They need to realize this ain’t about them, it’s for the fans. To me, *this* is about licking their wounds. And unless one can show me that Brady and/or Moss are laid up in traction somewhere, the only title they deserve is “baby.”

Rumors swirling the blogs that if this new spygate charge is true, Belicheat will be suspended for a year and the Pats will lose all their draft picks this year or next.

And the excuses have already started. Foxsports has an article that the CB burned by Plax’s last TD was playing injured. And now Brady isn’t in the PB because he’s injured too, presumably his ankle? Predictable.

Belichick has a history of going for it on fourth down once he gets past the other team’s forty. he gambles because making a fourth down play really demoralizes a defense.

Someone killed him at a bar for it, he didn’t kill himself.

All they need to do is win one more and they’ll have as many as Tom.

I’m not sure why you brought me into the conversation, I was talking about the Mannings and Tom Brady :-)

Yeah. Unfortunately I was in BR for work, and my 3 friends didn’t really appreciate the armchair seats I had scored at the last minute, so I missed the overtime.

Only time I’ve ever left a college game before it was over. Still have to make it to Ole Miss for a homegame someday.

Guys skip the Pro Bowl all the time with injuries. Why take a chamce of making the offseason full of rehab?

There is no benefit to an injured player going to the Pro Bowl so Brady, Gates, Tomlinson, etc should bag it. What do they owe you for showing up at some game that means nothing? Injure themselves further and it impacts offseason workouts and their preperations for camps.

I am specifically referring to my prediction that Brady’s ankle was more of problem than he let on, and homers will say ‘if Brady were 100%, the Giants would have lost’ excuses.
