NEW YORK GIANTS VS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

At University of Phoenix Stadium

6:17PM ET
TV Network: FOX
You mean lost 4 SBs. It was an era when the AFC just sucked and were totally outclassed by the NFC.
If it wasn’t for the extreme weakness of their division, thus guaranteeing 6 wins to start, I doubt that Patriots will be that good next year. They won’t be able to keep all the receivers. Plus, their linebackers and secondary is old with Samuels itching to leave. They’ve become a very one dimensional offense that’s relying on Brady staying healthy. From the Eagles game on, teams finally began to go all out on Brady with blitzes and rushes from all over the place. Next year, that will start in the preseason.
The increasing inability to cheat will also take it’s toll. Not knowing your opponent’s plays ahead of time will eliminate that “genius” label fast for both Brady, Bellicheat and Bruschi. They tried to bluff their way out of it this year by running up the score but the illusion is gone.
I doubt that they’d have won with Tiki. He’d become too much of a distraction for both Coughlin and Manning. The same goes for Shockey (an injury that probably made the team better).
It looked like some of the Pats offensive line was in the betting-against pool. How many times did Brady get sacked by someone who was more or less UNTOUCHED by the Pats?
I did not watch any Pats games until the last two weeks of the regular season. I'm not a big NFL fan though I have a few favorite players. (former Bama players. MS players. MI players.) I guess the Packers would be my favorite team for the last 15ish years. Anywho, I thought Tom Brady looked out of sorts/injured/ill/something every time I've seen him play. I thought he was ill or heavily medicated two weeks ago. Tonight, it was hard to tell because he ended up on the ground so many times.
His dad, on the right
Heartening, that he was so grateful to God for his performance. God bless him. The MSM and pundits can try to keep God out of our rhetoric, but they can't stop candid comments.
Haven’t followed him .. don’t know.
I wish Burress and his family the very best. As a Giants fan I appreciate the fact that he played hurt all year, and still made big plays. If he has taken God into his life then I’m sure he’s at peace with what he does on and off the field.
When you read about all his serious
injuries, and the fact that he was
questionable for this game, what he
accomplished today is amazing.
I bet you he was far more banged up than Tom Brady was. I heard a local sportscaster use the injured ankle bit to explain the Pats loss. What a bunch of nonsense. If the man is healthy enough to go nightclubbing in New York, he’s fine.
If you think karma is a "b****", just wait for paybacks.
Many old timers--like much of my family--never took up with those new-fangled "Bills"...they are Giants fans, even out in the western part of the state.
Who was wondering how long it would
take for the EvilShe to proclaim her
love for the Giants?

Dude, they lost one game all season and that was to a team they beat just 5 weeks ago in their house. They beat 6 playoff teams during the regular season and two more in the post season. Tonight they came up short against a team that had no business losing 6 games this year with the talent it possesses. The Giants won tonight and they deserve the credit but they lost 6 games this season whereas the Pats beat teams they couldn’t. If you watched the team the past month (you didn’t) you would have seen them crank up a running game.
Tell me a QB that does well with pressure and getting hit? Payton Manning screws the pooch all of the time when he gets rushed.
Gag!
BS.....if you want to keep your job in the NFL then you play hard. If you don’t then there’s always someone else willing to hustle and take your job. This running up the score complaining is for Pee Wee football. If you make $2 million a year and you suck then too bad. Go home and let someone else have a shot.
LOL. Of course Shrillary wants in on ‘her’ (sic) Giants winning the SB!! She’s been dreaming of this day almost since the moment her mama named her after that famous mountain climber..... has anyone asked her what sport the Giants play or whether she’s ever seen 2 min. of their play before tonight..... EVER??????
Brady won’t make it through next year.
