Same here...I’m searching for as many news articles about the upset as I can find. This has definitely made my week. I’m so glad all the bandwagon Patriots fans had to take one in the keister tonight.

I am one of those giants fans that expected the worst to happen, because over the last 17 years they found new and creative ways to lose games. Perhaps my negative attitude was my attempt to shield me from the pain of watching them lose another big game. But I wear my hat, I’ve made friendly bets with pats fans and I’m looking forward to collecting. And in a good natured way, giving them the needle. I can imagine for them losing the superbowl, going 18 and one, with all this spygate stuff coming back again, is making them very upset. So I feel their pain.
If you’re a browns fan the another parcells assistant, Romeo might lead you to the superbowl in a couple of years. I wish you well.

I used to have a neutral opinion of the Pats, but after reading posts on here and elsewhere from the smug a**holes that their fans are, I began to root vociferously for their demise.
It came tonight in classic style and I loved every second of it.
You may have noticed that the Pats fans on here are whining and sniveling in their usual annoying manner already, and predicting how great they will be next year. I don’t think the Pats or any team have it in them to have back to back seasons like this year. I predict 10-6 and out in the first round next year.

Veeeery interesting.......thank you. He’s more of a low life than I previously thought.

You’re right. I believe every coach no matter how bad the loss usually issues a statement something like this “They played a better game, we made mistakes and didn’t play our best. Congratulations to _________”

Thanks, Washington!
I’m still watching highlights on ESPN.
I just can’t get enough of it! :)

My analysis of the game was way off. I predicted the Pats would beat my giants 38 to 28. Next time I’m going to listen to Plaxico. I thought the Giants would do well offensively because with the exceptions of Vrabel and Samuels, their defense is slow. I thought the Giants could take advantage of that in the passing game. Well the pats played well tonight, but I stand by my belief that they’re slow. Harrison, Seau, Bruschi have lost a couple of steps and need to be retired. If the Pats don’t get more speed on defense, they’re in trouble when they face the Colts or a healthy San Diego team next year.

It was almost his 7th sack, and Krieg hit Paul Skansi in the end-zone on a 26-yard TD pass as time expired. They had that stupid "in the grasp" rule, but it didn't apply in this case.
That was a special game, one of very few Seahawks high points in the 1990s.

Thanks for the Browns comments. I am more of a Packer and Dolphin fan, but went to 2 games this year.
The Giants played a PERFECT game. They played better than the GB game. They were the better team tonight for sure!

This is the first time since the Bucs won in 2001 that I have not hit the TV power button after the final second ticked down.

The Browns (aside from my ‘Hawks) are the only team that, if 18-0, I would have been rooting for. They are my second-favorite team, have NEVER been to a SB, and Cleveland fans have waited long enough.
To: STARWISE
History was made tonight, but in an ironic way.
New England for the obvious, and the Mannings for having brothers QB back to back NFL championship teams.
To: mainerforglobalwarming
You just reminded me about Plex! Didn’t he predict the score to be 24-17?
And another thing. Winning 11 in a row on the road!! That may be the most impressive part of all this!

Well parcells is in Miami, and they’ll be at least a playoff team in two years. The Pack and Minnesota I think will battle it out for the division. Grant could be a 1500 yard back so I think Farve will have the running game he needs to be successful. So I think the top teams in the NFC are in the east, but who the heck really knows anymore. A couple more plays Green Bay goes to the superbowl. And maybe we have ice-bowl three in Lambeau next year.
