Why lovers of Israel should vote for McCain (according to Lieberman)

FORT LAUDERDALE - Joe Lieberman was a busy man this week, and the week before, and the one before that. Almost as busy as a candidate for the 2008 election. So busy that he did not even have the time to go back to Washington for the State of the Union address. So busy that he was trying to squeeze some interviews while driving from one event to another. One of them was with Haaretz.

He has a horse in this race. Not the horse Barack Obama was talking about yesterday.

Lieberman's is a Republican horse: Senator John McCain. Last week he was working for him in the Jewish community of Florida that will go to the polls today. This week it is mostly the Hispanic community. When I spoke to him he was getting ready for the event that prevented him from getting back to DC in time for President Bush's last annual address, an event with mostly Venezuelan-Americans.

So why McCain?

We started with Iran. McCain, Lieberman says, is the candidate to be trusted on this crucial matter. Every candidate states that he does not want Iran to become a nuclear power. The question is, Lieberman says, "how far will they go." And off course, McCain, like everybody else, wants to solve the problem peacefully, by diplomatic means, and sanctions when necessary. But "there's no question in my mind," Lieberman says, that McCain is a leader with "very strong views" when it comes to a nuclear Iran.

He does not believe that talks with Iran will make the difference. Lieberman calls this approach "just naive". You can't expect that "words" will do the trick. The Iranians will react to "strength."

Oh yeah - I can’t wait to hear his Secret Plan to Capture Osama Bin Laden! Lieberman better be careful - McCain will stab him in the back when it becomes politically necessary to do so.

JOHN McCAIN COMMITTED TO VICTORY IN THE WAR ON OUR WALLETS!

Good point about Israel though, Hilde and Bill’s tenure led to some addled minded policies.

Is he? When he says water boarding is torture and he would not water board to stop even a nuclear threat - how committed is that?
It was JM who stirred the pot on our alleged torture - how committed is that?
It is JM that wants to give terrorists US constitutional rights - how committed is that?

Absolutely.

Btw, I saw a guy being interviewed the other night who was bragging about how much money McCain raised in the Florida Jewish community.

What? Rigged by the Demicans and the Republicrats? You must be joking. Careful, citizen, you are bordering on a thought crime.

No, it’s not rigged.

Older folks, in particular, who vote in droves, are voting for whomever looks like they’ll give the most in handouts and not change things from the current big government system that they know and understand.

Dissappointing for such an otherwise fine generation.

I think the election is rigged from the start.

We had a whole bunch of liberals trotted out front by the RNC hacks in D.C. with their willing accomplices in the media, on Madison Avenue, and in the bowels of DNC hell.

The illegal immigrant proxy invasion and the economic proxy invasion of Chinese goods will eventually tear down the U.S. manufacturing base.

Now, the big Wall Street geniuses want their Keating Five bailout man to stick us with the bill for the subprime lending and mortgage failures.

Giuliani was just one of their leftist dupes people rejected.

It isn’t over yet...

I think the election is rigged.

Not sure 'rigged' is the correct adjective.... more like planted with deceit and deception.... Elections were turned over the the MSM to be orchestrated by polling... I heard on the Foxes last night that McCain wasn't needing $$$$ that McCain would benefit by the NEWS media...
