Did not see it posted yet, here we go folks!
What I don’t understand is how the party bigwigs profit from this. Hold onto power? I mean if the Reps get beat in the fall, doesn’t that hurt and cost the party? Or what am I missing. I would figure you would want the best guy for your party and country, not another old insider.
Larry King said... "this was a huge victory for the democrats as not only did Hillary clinton get more votes than Mccain, but more democrats came out to vote than Republicans"
Daily Kos dude says: "All out effort of Republicans in Florida could not match the turnout and energy of the democrats"
Huck will stay in just to put the screws to Romney.
I dont know what I can do but I do know that a huge part of this country wont suck it up so Im counting on them.
What are you counting on them to do?
I think we are too. I'm not absolutely sure which tho. A flaming Marxist, a Muslim, and a democrat....and all of them pro-illegal alien. We're gonna get amnesty too unless a whole bunch of conservatives can be elected to Congress. What are the chances of that?
Talk about a quagmire.
Oh yeah, I’m only saying once in a while I “think about” giving up politics... hasn’t happened yet. I understand this is just one primary. It doesn’t determine the future of America.
Guiliani is dropping out tomorrow and endorsing McCain.
I do pray daily for our country. Now more than ever. I honestly don’t understand what’s going on in the minds and hearts of so many in this country. Prayer works, I know that. I really believe there are dark days ahead and if people weren’t so blind they’d see that.
I’ll do what I can with mine and just keep praying.
Debate, after debate, after debate, after debate.

It will be Lindsey Gramnesty for McCains veep choice if we are stuck with him.
Well my brother in Sacramento voted over a week ago. They are voting early there too, and he said his vote was wasted because he voted for Rudy. So, like FL, many of them have already voted too.
It was, althoug obviously some democrats (but hopefully not many) and some independents registered republican.
The bigger problem, if you want to call it that, is that the moderates and liberals are looking at the democrats and saying, we’d rather associate with the republicans.
And having done so, they are picking a candidate that they think is more like them, which is McCain. They don’t like Romney, he’s too conservative. They don’t like Huckabee, he’s to religious. They didn’t like Rudy, because, I don’t know, maybe because he is Rudy.
anyway, I haven’t added it up, but it does seem more people voted in the republican than the democratic primary, which may bode well for Florida.
Would it be better if all the moderates and liberals voted in the democratic primary, and they had a 2-1 registration advantage?
I wish that we had republicans AND they all said they were conservative.
But in order for that to happen, we have to prove conservatism works. Unfortunately, our conservatives have mostly abandoned conservatism for expediency, so nobody thinks it works. Look at Rick Santorum, conservative icon, but gets assaulted by conservatives for supporting Specter, for some weird thing about the national weather service, and for a few other oddities.
We need to remain true to our conservative principles. We need to do our best to get conservatives elected, but we also need to get people into the republican party, and then to teach them about conservatism. We won’t get that chance if we chase them to the democrats.
The time has come to step up to the plate and fear and humility be damned, lol.

Yes, and I would add that now is the time for real conservative orators to emerge. It’s frustrating to see how few and far between they seem to be.
I wish we had communicators in the genre of G.K. Chesterton; people who have taken the time to nourish themselves in goodness and the best of Western instincts.
Mitt winning is more of a threat to many Republican insiders than a loss to Hillary or Obama. Mitt, a powerful outsider, bringing in new people, would threaten the buddy system.
A Hillary win would shrink but strengthen the existing Republican buddy system. That’s why McCain is their boy. He’s an ideal front man to deal with the Democrats. Rudy is the same type. Romney is altogether different.
LOL I suffered a stroke during heart surgery last May. You’re right, they are not worth it. ;>)
Appealing to independents and appealing to liberals-who hinder your goals-is not a way to accomplish anything.
I'd much rather fashion an appeal to the seventy percent of the country that doesn't want us to become a client state of Mexico than try to attract the votes of anti-Constitution, leviathan state socialists who love McLame.
Very interesting results...Looks like if Guiliani had not been on the ballot, Romney would have won Florida...Guiliani siphoned off the NY native son votes cast by former NYers living in Fla, the NE liberal votes, the general RINO votes, possibly a large share of the Hispanic vote and other pro-immigrant votes, plus some of the liberal Catholic vote...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(Bangs head on brick wall)
OUCH
That’s feels better
