They have been voting in Florida for weeks now.
Wonder how some of those votes would have went without Rudy in the race?

Mitt drops Panhandle [Mark Steyn]
Looks like it's over. The Panhandlers are giving McCain bigger margins of victory. This is a tough night for the Romney campaign. Fred's withdrawal should have benefited them more than McCain. If Huck stays in, there's no prospect of southern victories for Mitt on Super Tuesday. And, if Huck and/or Rudy pull out, their votes on balance are likely to break for McCain.

Reread my post. It was about people thinking we need a Hillary to teach us a lesson. My point was simple, the damage Hillary will do in 4 years will be impossible to undue. McBlame is just an older Hillary. He will fold like a lawnchair before his buddies in the Senate (Kennedy).
But thats beside the point McBlame cannot beat Hillary.
We are screwed!
Thanks

I wish I had your optimism. I’m really trying to believe it will all come out okay in the end. I detest McInsane and will not, under any circumstances, vote for him. Truly depressing.

"Maybe the Huckster who will be the next guy to cut a deal with McCain."The Huckster has already cut a deal with McCain. The reason he wasted the last few days in Florida (a state he couldn't win which is winner take all) to take votes from Romney, thereby helping McCain, instead of spending time in the few states where he has a better chance.

If you add Fred’s votes back into Romney’s, I bet Mitt would’ve pulled it out.

I'll have to give it a great deal of thought. Three times in the last 10 years I've called McCain's office to tell whoever would listen that McCain was a total crackpot, and I've NEVER called any other politician's office in my life.
The last call I made (amnesty bill), I told the nice lady that I would never vote for McCain for President because he epitimized everything that is wrong with America today...
And I'm a man of my word...magritte

“Spirits up? This could finally be a time for a true third party to emerge as a power....a representative to what I still believe is a majority of citizens in this country...Conservative, traditional values.”
Amen to that. We are so beyond needing a viable third party.

McCain=Dole
I voted against a Clinton once already w/a Dole. Voting against a candidate didn’t work then. It did w/Gore and Kerry. I’m doubtful it will work w/a Clinton or Obama.
When will I get to vote for a candidate?
To: CharlesWayneCT
McCain if nominated, will be elected and may not run for a second term.

Oh my, how could a poor nation like the US afford another division? Gee, how about a few less road pork projects? The Big Dig alone would have paid for several divisions. Or an Aircraft Carrier Group.
And how about a permanent across the board tax cut? That would generate hundreds of billions more in revenue over the years.

Glass empty, glass full.
One man's treasure is another man's trash.
In two years we will be saying WHY DID THE GOP NOMINATE A RINO (and combined with MSM and State GOP Party funny business, knock out True Conservatives in the primaries early on, 1-2-3), when a Conservative could have cleaned President Obama's clock. The responsibility will be that of the FAILED REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Just to let you know I’ve enjoyed your commentary.
I find I’m agreeing with most of your wisdom but I’m still thinking.
I’m trying to find my own peace.

Hear is what Rush said “quote I can see possibly not voting for the Republican nominee. If I believe that there’s not too much of a substantive difference between Mrs. Clinton and a couple of the Republican potential nominees — and if I believe that either the Republican or Democrat nominee is going to cause great damage and harm to the country — I would just as soon it happen on the watch of a Democrat.” (Rush 24/7
