It would make absolutely zero sense for Giuliani to be hinting at dropping out at this point. He’s in it until the polls close in Florida.

Just like Thompson in right before Iowa. Who do think floated this? Which candidate has basically bought off the media (and interest groups, etc.).?

It doesn't matter because his supporters are aware that's what is about to happen anyway. There are numerous reports of Rudy supporters giving up on him in FL and going to McCain or Romney, before Tuesday's results get here.

I am not a Rudy fan at all, but he may be better than McCain.

McCain is probably behind this. It was revealed he was behind the Fred rumor.

He’ playing pretty dirty right now. Scarey.

He will likely stay in until after Super-Tuesday if it looks like he might pick up some delegates. Then he will try and use those delegates to negotiate a nice appointment in the administration of whoever wins the nomination. Of course that only works out if the Republican candidate can win the Presidency.

I'm still thinking that Rudy might like to be Attorney General or Secretary of Homeland Security.

just another push by the liberal media to get Rudy out.

hopefully people remember how the pollsters predicted that Gore and Kerry won the last two times and will vote how they feel, not how the press is telling them to with their phony polls.

I live in Miami. I don't know of ANYBODY who even remotely likes Rudy. I do drive right by the Versailles Cafeteria (ground zero for the exile community in Little Havana) everyday on the way home from work and Rudy has a HUGE sign next door, facing the establishment. But currently he is running fourth slightly behind Huckabee. Given the huge effort he's supposed to have put into Florida, that's pretty bad. I voted early (for Huckabee) and supposedly Rudy has a lot of the early votes sewn up. Somehow, I rather doubt that.

As for McCain, once Republicans get a real gander at his record, I don't think he's going to do so well. If we're lucky, somebody will goad him just right in a press conference and we'll get to see a Dean Scream moment in the midst of a total McCain meltdown and he'll be burger, well done.
