Mitt looks like he stepped out of “Mystery Date!”

I LOVED that game!

My husband and I were rehashing last nights debate and I recalled something that caught my attention in particular. The gist being that Tim Russert asked Romney how he would campaign against the TWO Clintons. Romney answered that he would NOT. He would be running against Senator Clinton. Now that says that the MSM is acknowledging that the Clintons have a team running against individuals OBama and Edwards. I do not know of course what that media game means but it was not just randomly thrown out by Russert. I liked Mitts answer which I interpreted to mean that he was not going to put up with the Clinton s-—crap. It really was an informative debate and gave insight into all of the candidates.

“Have you seen this this is (unreadable)_____, this is pathetic, unbelievable”

Haven’t heard anything about that but I’d hold on to that tape.

I went to MSNBC’s site to try and find a transcript. Couldn’t find it but I did find out Ron Paul won the debate.

Who do you think did the best or worst in the following six categories?

LOL

As a Fredhead looking for a new candidate to latch on to Huckabee proved to me last night he is NOT THE ONE I would choose.

On the same day my Wife and I were pondering how to use our stimulus package tax rebate to stimulate the economy - Huckabee tells us in last nights debate that he thinks it would be better spent adding 2 lanes to a highway on the East Coast. Oh yea, now that’s a great way to stimulate the economy in fly-over country and out here on the West Coast - Not.

You should have watched the debate last nite.

Romney said he didn’t care about the voters, he cared about the candidates.

Want the exact quote again, this time out of context?

Your “quote” is inaccurate BTW

It makes it seem like Romney doesn't care about the American People. He only said voters, not the rest of Americans.

There's really not anything to worry about as nothing sticks to Romney, he's pretty slick.

I’m listening to the rerun, it’s astonishing how many biased, nasty questions they’re asking.
Did any of the questioners ever say such things to the Dems? Can one even imagine them saying these things to Clinton?

Why do the Republicans not object to this?

Romney said he didn’t care about the voters, he cared about the candidates.Anyone with half a brain meant he wasn't hiding it from the general populace, it was a competitive advantage, and he didn't want the CANDIDATES to find out.

Well, it was a poor choice of words but it won’t harm him.

People will support him no matter what. He’s slick and has that charisma and those extreme good looks and a model Ozzie and Harriet family.

Like most of the questions asked by the liberal DNC goons Oberman and Co. sent out there it was out of line and designed to make any and all Republicans look bad.

You’re absolutely right...snide, nasty questions that would never have been brought up at a Dem forum...a lot of gotcha stuff as well...as much as I disagree with a few of our candidates, I thought they all handled it with aplomb and grace...magritte

I really wouldn’t trust Huck on anything.

He has proven that he will say whatever he thinks he needs to say. He changed four times on immigration.

In reality, he is nothing but a stalkinghorse for McCain in this race. When he dropps out, he’ll endorse McCain and send us down the chute to tyranny.

Here's is the exact exchange you pointed out.

Russert: But why not tell the voters of Florida and across the country how much of your own wealth you're spending, so they can make a judgment and factor that into their own decision?

Romney: Well, I'm not concerned about the voters. I'm much more concerned about the other guys on this stage. And we have some competitive information we make sure that we use for our own benefit.

Sounds to me like he doesn't want his GOP opponents and the American people to know how much of his own money he's spending in his wild attempt to buy the nomination. I don't blame him. LOL
