Reagan passed amnesty. Reagan passed a huge Social Security tax increase.
Reagan wimped out when US Marines were attacked in Beruit, Lebanon in 1983.
Reagan supported Richard Nixon, the wage & price freezer, and the China lover.
My point, of course, is that many FR hardliners are DEMANDING purity of 100% conservatism, when in reality that is not even possible.
Heck, even the "perfect" Duncan Hunter today threw his "perfect" conservative record squarely behind Mike Huckabee, the biggest pro-Illegal immigrant Governor in America.
The Hunter goes off the edge. Go Mitt!!!
BTW, in case you didn’t just switch topics on my, but misunderstood my post, NRTL is National Right to Life, not a gun group. They endorsed Thompson as the pro-life candidate with the best chance of winning.
Now that he is gone, their endorsement I guess is up for grabs. Romney worked hard for that endorsement before it went to Thompson, but given the NRTL criteria I could see them going with Huckabee since he HAS been strong on the pro-life issue, one of the few things I really like about him.
No one’s head is exploding. We are just surprised.
Bringing in this many 3rd world illegals would not only destroy the United States economically but culturally and in every way possible.
This is the plan of these Marxists like Huckabee, McCain , Hillary and the Democrats. They know that these millions of illegals will vote for Democrats and for socialism. So they import voters from the 3rd world. This is cultural Marxism as well as economic Marxism .
And we will all be starving just like in every socialist state like the USSR, Eastern Europe, N Korea, Cuba.
Hunter was my first choice because he seemed to be strong on illegal immigration. Now that he endorsed Huckabee I feel I made a mistake and that Hunter is either an idiot, totally ignorant, very gullible, a liar, or all of the above. And I would not support Hunter under any circumstances now just like I won’t support Huckabee the Huckster.

The Fairtax is completely independent of being socialist. It is designed to be revenue neutral, so it does NOTHING to take money away from government. It’s billed to be progressive, with it’s poverty-level prebates and natural inclination to tax people who spend more money, so it doesn’t change the socialist aspect of our tax code.
He has said he wants government to interfere in my life. Whether he wants to spend money to do so or not I can’t say. Socialist may not be the right word. Nanny-stater is probably more accurate.
