This was a surprise. From the Hunter statement:
"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter. "Of the remaining candidates I feel that he is strongly committed to strengthening national defense, constructing the border fence and meeting the challenge of China's emergence as a military superpower that is taking large portions of America‚s industrial base."
"Along with these issues of national security, border enforcement and protecting the U.S. industrial base, I see another quality of Mike Huckabee's candidacy that compels my endorsement. Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity. I saw that character over the last year of campaigning and was greatly impressed. The other Republican candidates have many strengths and I wish them all well. My personal choice is Mike Huckabee," Hunter concluded.

He’s obviously getting hassled by the eager media pukes like Cavuto, which is the only reason Cavuto had him on the other day. He probably sees Huckster as the best choice given the bunch of RINOs in the race. Even if it wasn’t a baited question where he was cornered into giving his “closest” acceptable candidate, he chose an underdog.
Otherwise the media flakes would be bugging him from now till election day for his endorsement. Who else running would Hunter support?
Mitt Romney? No. He caters to Chinese communists, supported Clinton’s AWB, is weak on immigration and supports his own version of HillaryCARE: government-mandated healthcare.
Rudy? Nope...he’s another Clinton gun-grabbing, pro-gay, pro-abortion, cross-dressing RINO. Mayor of SANCTUARY CITY would not get a Hunter endorsement.
John McCain...No way! He sells out to the JACKASS PARTY on all the issues. The man is a DUmocrat and doesn’t even respect his own constituents. Anti-free speech, pro-amnesty, anti-tax cuts, gang of 14 backstabber.
Ron Paul? HELL NO! He’s not only adopted the DUmocrat’s agenda of the anti-war kook, he’s recently stated he’d give amnesty to illegals. Muslims endorse Ron Paul for a reason, and it’s not “conservatism”.
Who else COULD Hunter endorse? Maybe Alan Keyes, but then all the naysayers here would spend all day trashing Hunter based on a non-sourced article. They prove the RINOs have taken over the party with their high fives when he was out of the debates, cork-popping when he ended his campaign, and jumping on the RINO bandwagon bashing him for an endorsement.
Proves they were looking for a “1%-er” to back their annointed RINO to give some resemblence of credibility to their candidate who doesn’t have any.
Yes, evil. I just can’t fathom a human being able to watch, much less inflict, sadistic pain upon a helpless creature. Stone cold evil.

Look at his record on how he worked and utilized the illegal immigrant worker in Arkansas. Look at how he rebuilt the roads and brought the schools from a 48th ranking to 5th.
Look at how he beat the Clinton machine...In Arkansas.
Just give him a honest, serious look, that's all.

Very true. I believe Romney to be all that I pointed out in my last post. I’m listening to him now, on H&C - he’s great.
I have tried, over and over again, to point out the truth that one can find, including but not limited to “don’t judge until/unless you know the whole truth” but also pointing to the facts.
I’ve posted article after article, after link, after quotation.... It gets very tiresome, especially in the face of repeated flaming and the methane it comes with.
My point about the officer’s allegation is that it is merely one officer’s allegation against the man who released him from his position.

Read a couple hundred posts in no specific order. Duncan Hunter was my 1st choice. I find his endorsement of Mike Huckabee surprising. Despite the drawbacks of either of these men, I find them and any of the remaining Republican candidates 1000x better than Hillary Clinton.
