He had his problems..but they are saying it was over the counter sleeping pills, so I immediately think of Benedryl. So he wasn't hooked on the Benzo type of sleep aids, like Ambien or Lunesta?

OTOH, Benedryl is an antihistimine, which causes drowsiness, and maybe he mixed the pills with booze, and his respiratory system shut down?

I wish I knew more about the drug interactions, but I don't see him deliberately committing suicide.

“The Lion in Winter” is one of my all-time favorites. I consider it to be among the finest dialogue ever performed on screen.

That being said, I’m saddened by the death of this young actor, and will pray for his family, especially his daughter, who will now never know her Daddy.

No one knows what will happen (including doctors/pharmacists) if you mix drugs. They are using an educated guess.

Alcohol mixes badly with everything.

Wow. Well, we can already tell what is going to happen now.

She is going to be "blamed" for his death in some degree if she was doing drugs with him.

The sad truth is, if you do drugs, then you take responsibility for what happens. Now, people can enable you - but it doesn't give the user an excuse.

Again, this is all so sad. He was so young.

If any good can come out of this, it should be a wake up call to people using drugs.
