Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

No, he is better than Kennedy or Hillary. You know that.

We know that if they get in we are really screwed, at least with McCain he may be a little more conservative, hold your nose and vote for him...come on!

The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all of the background checks, interviews, and testing were done there were three finalists, two men and a woman.

For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.

"We must know that you will follow your instructions, no matter what the circumstances. Inside of this room, you will find your wife sitting in a chair, Kill Her!!!"

The man said, "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my wife."

The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this job."

The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. Then the man came out with tears in his eyes.

"I tried, but I can't kill my wife."

The agent said, "You don't have what it takes. Take your wife and go home."

Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions, to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room.

Shots were heard, one shot after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls.

After a few minutes, all was quiet.

The door opened slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the sweat from her brow and said, "You guys didn't tell me the gun was loaded with blanks.

I had to beat him to death with the chair."

We have a war going on 2 fronts & trouble spots constantly flaring all over the Mideast, and yet you read these Mitt-threads and all you hear is that he*s changed, real conservative now, wonderful family, picked on by bigots, our only hope and oh so nice lookin*—but not much substance, like where is any military knowledge, study or interest? Was not in *Nam because of his missionary work in France (hoo-hah!), when asked recently by a newsie if any of his five sons had served, he replied that his oldest was serving his country by *helping to get his father elected President*. Earlier on a mitt-thread a couple of posters mentioned this and were promptly flamed, furiously. This man is being happily adopted as *our only hope* but with his history, his record, the demoncRATs would probably trash him; if he was elected, we would keep going down the leftist globalist highway. I*m taking a good look at Paul.

If he wasn’t in the news, he had a bad publicist.

Riight, because those publicists are the ones who decide what gets shown on the nightly news, and what's on the editorial pages of the major newspapers.

Recently atop the new 60 story building being constructed in down town Salt lake City the following was overheard:

"Hey Mac, come over here to the edge with me; what's your name?"

"I'm Ralph, who are you?"

"Well, Ralph, I'm Jeff, sent here by the prophet to bring good news, are you a member of the priesthood, Ralph?"

"Yea, sure, Melchizedek in fact, Why Jeff?"

"Well, Ralph, do you recall how Jesus walked on water? Well, the prophet has been given the keys to walk on air and extends it to all the priesthood. Here, watch this."

Jeff steps off the ledge and walks out about ten feet and stands there in mid air.

"Wow!" says Ralph, "Do you mean I can do that?"

"Certainly", replies Jeff, "Just make a leap of faith."

Ralph takes a step from the ledge and plunges screaming to the pavement 60 floors below. Jeff walks back to the building and calls to another worker, "Hey, Mac, come over here."

Meanwhile on the street a passerby notices the occasional rain of bodies and approaches an apparently unconcerned worker nearby,

"Say, didn't you see several workers falling from above?"

"Oh yea, it's just Superman screwing around with the Mormons again."

I was under the impression you were promoting Ron Paul. If I misunderstood you, I apologize.

Romney is OK, and may just make a good conservative President.

I believe that. I am HOPING that the Romney bashers will have to eat their words when Romney is made to look like Reagan compared to El Presidente Jorge.

By the way, I am under no illusion that Romney will be anywhere near Reagan, but he will be closer than Jorge El Busho.

He should endorse Duncan Hunter and then when the Huckster flames out, DH will reenter the race and be a top tier candidate.

I would rather a RAT was elected than one of the liberal puke twins. That gives a conservative a chance in 2012.

Many thought felt the same way in '92. They gave us eight years of Bill Clinton. You want to join that crowd?

If Ron Paul ran against Hillary, she would win all 50 states. Get a grip.

That is a nice statement. I appreciate it. I think Mitt knows there are a lot of sad FredHeads tonight. I had tears in my eyes removing my bumper sticker.

“I was under the impression you were promoting Ron Paul. If I misunderstood you, I apologize.”

I am supporting ROn Paul.

My previous comment was tongue in cheek.

If I didn’t love the Constitution, I’d be a Mitten.

The Iraqi's are quite capable of handling their internal terrorist problem without U.S. troops.

Sounds cute, but we're not quite there yet. Right now, the only reason you think you can afford the luxury of entertaining that whim, is because we are, due to a position of strength - OUR strength, able to hand over control of areas in a deliberate, relatively seamless manner....that is, for an area inundated with terrorists dressed like civilians, and brass that'd rather prosecute our forces than hunt theirs down.

The wolf is still at their door. If we just walked away before they're ready, as Reidlosi and the Paulettes suggest, THEN they get their Vietnam aftermath, with millions, not thousands, dead, with Israel just one of many ground zeroes.

“If Ron Paul ran against Hillary, she would win all 50 states. Get a grip.’

You don’t know that.

I think Paul could clean her clock. Or else he would be the Barry Goldwater of 2008. Thanks to Barry, we got Reagan.

How funny since she was once a “Goldwater Girl.”
