4. Sources inside the Huckabee campaign are extremely worried since they didn’t beat McCain in SC. Blaming Fred for the loss is not an off the cuff reaction. It is part of their strategy to fight Fred. While they will get a boost in donations now, they are still extremely worried about money and the ability to continue past Florida if they do not do well there.

He was asked yesterday if he would stay on without pay- as in- he was no longer going to get paid starting yesterday. There are a bunch of folks way under him in the chain of campaign- they're all being cut and then the campaign will be reorganizing with any that do choose to stay.
