JANUARY 20TH, 2008
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
3:00PM ET - CBS
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
6:30PM ET - FOX
How is the weather back in NE?
Could be the Chargers only hope.
Winds will only be around 15MPH with a high of 24 degrees. Should get much colder as the game continues.
You just know that the NFL and all of the Super Bowl advertisers are praying that New England and Green Bay win today.
Its gonna be Green Bay and New England. I do not believe anything will stop New England this year.
I don’t think they’d mind a NE-NYG Super Bowl either.
Yeah, but only half of New York roots for the Giants.
Jets fans will probably find something else to do.
NY is a better ad market than GB
Whoa...money line= Chargers +697.
Is Rivers playing?
Pats running game is much better than at any point in the year, Pats have a killer short passing game and if the Pats don’t have to cover deep then it minimizes their weak under belly.
SD is better than earlier this year but then again, the Pats have Seymour back at closer to 100% than he has been all season.
I’ll worry about that after the Chargers game.
It’ll be a tough pill for them to swallow having to choose between the Pats and Giants.
GMen played the Pats as well as anyone has all year. Packers have had a great season and their WRs run very well after the catch and Favre can stymie a rush with his mobility.
The Pats are guaranteed nothing if they win today.
My guess is the Chargers defense is going to be blitzing like mad today.
Just heard on the radio that Rivers will start. We’ll see how long he can go.
That means lot of quick passes to Welker, screens to Faulk and some draw plays. I still expect to see a few long throws to keep the Chargers offense honest though.
He’s likely to be out by half time, if that.
