Where does a Conservative go?(Vanity)
My feckless brain ^ | Me

Posted on 01/20/2008 1:18:25 AM PST by TexasMatty

As a Conservative I am lost. I will not, under any circumstances vote for John Mclame. He has sold Conservatives out. Nor will I vote for Jesus' favorite candidate Schmuckabee. I believe the most Conservative candidate is Thompson and can't help but wonder who is voting in these things. If Mclame or Schmuckabee is the nominee I can't vote. It will pain me deeply to not vote, but either of those clowns are no different from the lefty. Me question to my FRiends is.. WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO??? The situation seems rather desperate.

We would have to do what Robt. E. Lee would not do---fight a guerilla political war for the next few decades, while we have a chance to bring the next generation around....change hearts and minds.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Exactly. The Libtard fascists are going to have to take us street by street, house by house.

Bring it on you f'n prigs!

Ummmm eight years of taking down another Clinton is a very VERY worse case scenario! Besides we’re STILL undoing clinton policy!

Personally, I’d vote for any Republican nominee over a Clinton or Obama AND vote in the local elections as conservative a possible!

"We would have to do what Robt. E. Lee would not do---fight a guerilla political war for the next few decades, while we have a chance to bring the next generation around....change hearts and minds."

You may be closer to correct than you think...

"Change" has been made near impossible....Little known fact is Clinton/Romney actually have a secret advantage by being the pick of the elite party establishment.

You think the person who gets the most votes wins the nomination? Think again.

(R) Candidate “A” = 40% of vote or 1,301 delegates.
(R) Candidate “B” = 60% of vote or 1,952 delegates

B is close, but not quite to, the majority of delegates needed, even though he won by over 20% of the vote. In party primaries, majority of votes doesn’t mean winning; here’s where the party leadership slight-of-hand comes into play.

Look at the Dem superdelegates, which number 796 and are not chosen by primary voters. At the convention, they support candidate “A”, with the final results:

(D)Candidate “A” = 40% of vote but 2,097 delegates.
(D)Candidate “B” = 60% of vote but 1,952 delegates.

Candidate “A” wins the nomination with only 40% of the vote! If he (or she) knows they’re the party elites pick, all they have to do is stay close during the state primaries, and the private delegates swing the convention to their favor even though the majority of citizens want someone else.

Which is equivalent to throwing your vote in the trash.

But marginally better than staying home. If Conservatives really can't stand to vote for whoever the Republican candidate ends up being, a slew of third-party votes will at least deny Hillary the popular vote.

The Libtard fascists are going to have to take us street by street, house by house.

On Lexington Green, a bunch of irregulars showed up in a line to face down the British Army.

They did not beat the Redcoats in that battle...but they eventually won the war.

Had they stayed in their homes and fought them house by house...literally...nobody would've heard "the shot heard round the world".

I have no sympathy nor sentimentality for the GOP...but without some kind of organization to fight today's Red Dems, liberty will be crushed in the same way.

I saw a 101 year old Jewish woman last week (I’m her nurse)that survived the holocaust and she has pictures all over her apartment of Charlie Rangel and Bill Clinton!

She has support the troops and we stand with Israel stickers all over her apartement door also.

Pictures of Clinton and her greeting Clinton at the airport and kissing him on the cheek 8 years ago more accurately!

What time do they serve dinner at the Chicken Little Ranch?

All day long. And the only thing on the menu is boiled frog. Care for some?

The GOP is telling conservatives where to go, loud and clear.

And Hillary is telling the KosKids to pound sand.

Lesson: If you find yourself on a ledge, don't jump.

Imagine four years of Hillary/Romney/McCain appointing Federal Judges or Hussein/Romney/McCain negotiating with Imanutjob to allow the Persians to have nuclear weapons. Imagine that with crooked elections and gerrymandering the left: McCain?Romnet/Hillery/Obama stay in charge for the next 50 years.

Surely you don’t really believe that giving up even an inch to the left is a good strategic move?

There is no longer a strategic move.

The left HAS won.

Mccain/Romney/Hillery/Obama, all lead to the same place, a multicultural, pluralistic amnesty society, with a denuded military/ its all the same wine, only the flavor varies.

These prigs do not care wht the public wants. They have their own personal agendas. And they have no interest in conservative voters as a defined electorate. And without that defined electorate, The Republicans have spelled their own doom, whether its for 4 years or 50. Its beyond conservative reach to change it.

Checkmate.

I am not voting for any of them now that Duncan Hunter is out, let Hillary, McCain, Huckbee or Obama run the nation into the ground for 4 years.>>>>>>>>>>

You are my true FRiend! I will write Duncan in as I promised.

I am no longer a member of the Republican party.

Exactly. Leftists were upset about the Electoral College in Algore's defeat...but they don't (know) or care about the shennanigans that give us the retarded product that comes out of the primaries.

Out of 300,000,000 people....Hillary, Obama, Edwards, McCain, Romney, Guilliani....Kerry, Gore, even Bush......these are the best we can do from an entire country of CEOs, farmers, engineers and lawyers?

We ought to institute a wild-card candidate on both sides!

Since you believe all is lost why even bother to post? Or could it be you aren’t really a conservative? Is your real purpose to discourage us from trying to fight the left?

I will never buy the idea we should surrender. Remember what Thomas Paine wrote in 1776:

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it NOW deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

LOL. What GI doesn't think his Army is fubar!?!

I'm sure a few of the guys at Valley Forge thought Washington was an idiot.

So the organization is f'd. What're you going to do? Repair the old clunker? Or build one from scratch out of popsicle sticks?

Repair the old clunker? Or build one from scratch out of popsicle sticks?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That depends very much on a man by the name of Jim Robinson.

But we have the same problems with my State GOP, here in Vermont. You know the ones who financed Jim Jeffords campaign and let him defect to the Dems without asking for their money back. You have no idea how deep my invective for the GOP has become. I am through rationalizing their conduct.

In truth, how did such a bunch of LIBtards come to run the GOP into the ground?

I watch Tom DeLay. I will follow what he does very closely.

I don’t know why we have to live through this elaborate hoax every four years. Why don’t they just tell everyone we are no longer a republic and get it over with. It would save a lot of money, time and heartbreak.
