This is a non-issue and should not even be brought up.
Deal with what Huckabee stands on the issues.
I think it is safe to say that none of the candidates are racists.

I dont like Gomer Huck either. I just want him to take out McCain today and then he really has no where to go. Four things;
1)The polls have often been wrong. It's not wise to make your decision based on DBM paid-for polls.
2)Huck needs to go just as bad as McCain needs to go. They both have a long track record of stabbing conservatism in the back.
3)SC is not a winner-take-all state. A vote against McCain is a vote against McCain, regardless of who you vote for.
4)Fred might win and I think it's highly likely that McCain will come in third.

I think it is safe to say that none of the candidates are racists. But, based on #421, I think it is safe to say that Huckabee is a waddle-ist.

Romney declared the winner in Nevada and it's only about 10:15AM there.
That said, GO FRED!

As a Fred supporter, what would your feelings be if he teamed up on a ticket with McCain with Thompson being the VP?Unacceptable and not going to happen. Fred is running because the ground troops asked him to. He's running for President and nothing else, imo.

With that Projection of Romney winning Nevada that means he has won half of the 6 states in this five man race.
And he should have about 45% of the elected delegates @ the end of the day {and most of the unpledged delegates}.
I do not expect the mcCain pimpin' media to acknowledge his momentum & clear numerical lead.

“Thus, I would rather see Huck win in SC. I don’t think McCain could survive the loss. It would be painful watching the media depict the GOP as a bunch of knuckle dragging throwbacks for supporting Huck. But we know we’re not and Huck will be beaten later.”
Take a look at the latest ARG poll (yesterday’s). It has Huck #1 (33), Fred #2 (22) and McCain 3rd (21).
That’ll give you some hope.

Take it from an SC insider—Fred will get enough mojo from our true conservatives to win the nomination at the inevitable brokered convention.

I pray too...but not for any particular candidate on the GOP side...just pray to be saved from any Dem grabbing power.
