Today is the day.
“I think his Mormonism will hurt him, but not kill him. “
Much more specific questions will be asked if he wins the nomination. I had a friend whose family members weren’t allowed to attend her wedding because they weren’t Mormon. There is a secrecy there, and an exclusiveness, that leaves a bad taste in most peoples mouths.
Want to try again only this time not just flame out with a response based on your own emotion based opinions wrongly stated as facts?
Heads up: Mitt Romney will the the guest tomorrow morning on Fox News Sunday.
Giuliani will guest on ABC This Week. Aside from Edwards appearing on a couple of other shows, the guest spots are open and I surmise that McCain is taping one or two of those as we speak.
Do you know the definition of hick? Gullible, provincial, unsophisticated... Perhaps some of the finest people you know fit this description. Me, I don't think those attributes are positive.
Those of you who are registered on Fred’s website,
go post a comment. I just did. There are almost
700 comments since the polls closed already, and
at least one guy has “filled the truck” with $1,000.
Everyone’s URGING him to stay in.
Praying he does.
FredFans, go post

For those who actually believe the ridiculous position
that he would run just as a foil for McCain, ask yourselves
this:
A man in his 60’s, with a successful former
congressional stint
who’s financially comfortable, and has been
literally besieged with lucrative radio offers
that he turned down for this pursuit
with a young wife and 2 toddlers
incurring a financially risky and physically
tiring campaign schedule with this young family
in his mature years
He would do all this for SOMEBODY ELSE ?
So is McCain paying him big bucks to endure and put
himself and his family through all this ?
What’s Fred get out of it?
Fortunately, our frount-runner is a conservative who has ties to the midwest, Michigan, AND the northeast. Because a liberal would be a problem.
“Some of the finest people I know are “hicks”.”
and some of the finest people I know are “elite.”
LOL From the looks of Bubba lately Hillary may be the same thing.
I have a sneaking suspicion you won’t actually be at the convention, and no, I don’t think Romney will offer you a delegate seat just so you can walk out, sorry.
No, all the sheeple understand is that when they are dissatisfied with the “in”, they must vote for the “out” in the election. They are incapable of doing otherwise.
All the talking heads are agreeing that this race is now between Romney and McCain. I think I might have to go with Romney.:)
“Romney won in at least two states with the majority of evangelicals....your point is absurd.”
Now, now don’t let the facts get in the way./s
A little over 400,000 people voted in the Republican SC primary in 2008.
560,000 voted in the Republican SC primary in 2000.
It could have been the weather, but over 160,000 Republicans sat out today
The vote in the Republican SC primary is down 28% ,,,,2000 vs 2008
The population of South Carolina has grown 10% 2000 to 2007.
Based on population, what caused the vote in the South Carolina Republican primary to be down 35% ?
I wasn’t aware that there was a question about whether Romney actually said it.
No, I think people over 70 are voting for one of their own, just as Mormons in NV did for Romney, and Christian socialists did for Huckaboob.
Republicans still have FRed.
