Do they count Greenville and Charleston (McLettuce territory) first?

Another big factor is that it is a very Military oriented state, and those folks might be voting for him based on this single issue.

You should have posted a “barf” alert with your post. McQueeg will be way to friendly with the dimocRATS. Then there is the global warming thing.

My best case scenario is Fred/Mitt coming out of a brokered convention.

I'm holding out for a sudden awakening of the grassroots.

Sorry, last happened in February-April 1980, may never happen again. The sheeple can be controlled by the MSM.

“Thompson needed to be #2. Being #3 or #4 isn’t going to cut it. Giuiliani is the only one with a shot, other than McCain, Huck and Romney.”

If Fred does come in third, why would he be out of the race? Has Giuliani won any race yet? If Guiliani isn’t out yet, why would Fred be out?

Thomspon at #3 means he is #1 because the real people in th is country aren’t going to really vote for Huck or Mccain. They Rinos!

Why is it that on the DEM side the far left loonies decide the nominee, but on the GOP side, the right wing is being marginalized????

You’re prolly right - but do we want a president who does things out of spite and revenge instead of what is best for the country?

Was he strongly for “Sandy” O’Connor, but he was not in the Senate then?

When Greenville county comes in, Huckabee should do VERY well. Huck is dominating the upstate.

Huck avoided BJU...that's gonna hurt him bigtime in Greenville with the evangelicals IMHO.

what i dont get is how people say mccain is not a conservative esp on domestic and social issues. There are something hes more liberal positions but on things like the war, support for israel , bortion and sodomy he is on the right side

It is a primary day for petes sake. I think sophomoric gloating is okay for this one day. After today, we are back on campaign baby kissing mode.

Woud it raise your suspicions if McCain put Fred in a cabinet position or even selected him as his running mate? Don’t you think Fred’s involvement in the race probably helped McCain by splitting up the social conservative vote? Who exactly had the most to gain? I’ll give you a hint: it’s someone old and decrepit and turd-crazy with a penchant for saying the phrase “my friends”.

The Upstate had some rain/ice/snow mix today that might keep some Upstate voters away.
