Fred looks like he’s pulling ahead of Romney for third.

Go, Fred!

Fox supports the liberals running for the GOP nomination.

The best thing in the world for Fox News' ratings would be a Hillary Clinton presidency. So, if the GOP nominates a RINO and demoralizes the base, it will be good for business so far as FNC is concerned. Hence, they support RINOs.

“the most tradgic part is that we on FR have to go to CNN to get hard news as it happens.”

There’s a shift going on, isn’t there? Not just the pieces, but the entire gameboard is being moved around this election cycle. Rupert may come to regret his pimping for the New Yorkers.

re: I can't believe so many republicans would vote for McCain after all that he's done? And Huck is the next Clinton))

That's because Republicans didn't vote for him. Independents and Democrats did. Over half of SC Democrats are black, and they'll all vote Obama. The Dem primary in SC is a done deal--nothing to lose by screwing SC conservatives by voting for McCain.

There may be no point in SC of having a GOP primary at all unless they close it to mischief.

McCain despises South Carolinians, as does Graham. They both got to stick it to conservatives today. Revenge for McKook.

As did MSNBC.

Fox got so scared of what he was saying that they had an...uhhh...”audio” problem...or was that a testosterone problem???

I wonder why they aren’t saying that about Rooty?

Fox is becoming a moderate RINO’s dream.

Thompson just moved into third place. Romney will have to kick himself for not spending a little more time here. He had Nevada wrapped up anyway.

They (fox) are infiltrated by the Romney people (they want Fred out). Money talks (the country club flip flop wing of the GOP ... although, that wing is uncapable of rolling up their sleeves and winning a general election against Hillary). Hillary will easily beat Romney or Huckabee. And McCain is not that much differnt than Hillary on the issues.

At least Fox was smart enough to see that Fred's speech was going NOWHERE, just like his entire campaign. They put the kibosh on his blathering and clearly made the right move, seeing as he said absolutely NOTHING.

Sounds like he's giving up but doesn't have the sack to say he's dropping out. Why do so many here like this guy?

Delegates as of end of Nevada (with corrected Iowa that no one seems to have changed since that night)

ROM 65
MCC 23
HUC 22
THO 10
PAU 08
GIU 03
HUN 01*

No one is near to gaining a clear advantage just yet. I find myself in the odd position of hoping Giuliani wins Florida now (if Fred does not.)

I agree. It was a goodbye speech.

All the thanking everyone. The reminiscing. No mention of “On to Florida” or anywhere else.

Sorry, folks. But that wasn’t a speech by a man who plans to stay in the race.

At the end he didn’t quit, but he said he has to think about things....

Clap and Shout..Yeah.....way to thank your supporters Fred...

All i can think of now is the Singing Frog...great when performing..doesn’t like to perform...

sounded like someone is putting his fire out..He should have started early and come out swinging like a winner...

Fred gave a great speach to spur his supporters on and to thank them for all their hard work. We are standing strong, standing together, and together we can do great things! Now Fred will go watch the returns come in. I can’t watch FOX. After Fred’s speach, Brit said,”Well, he didn’t tell us if he is going on to Florida.” I used to like and respect Brit because he was balanced in his reporting. Seems he is just following the MSM talk now. I will answer Brit’s question. Yes, Fred WILL go on to Florida, and also on to Super Tuesday. This race is not over for Fred Thompson! GO FRED!
