in FL Giuliani is courting the “god’s waiting room crowd”
I don’t think FL is relevant any more.

We’d better not fool ourselves...the Mainstream Media is very powerfull. One good conservative dropped out today and they’re trying to bury the last one in.
A punk kid just out of college who posts the snippets on the new tickers across the bottom of the screen has more influence than we do on this forum.
The MSM knows it, too. The Democrats know it. The Liberal journalism professors guiding these kids into the media know it.
I try not to be shocked at how gullible people can be...even so-called Republicans.

(Guess what? I'm voting for the Conservative. Fred Thompson.)
To: don-o
They say he ran a lackluster campaign because he didn’t have Hollywood one liners every second, he didn’t cram his entire fiscal policy into a half minute talking point, he doesn’t play the guitar or the banjo nor does he try and be hip.
Fred is the consistent conservative in the race, yet some people like style over substance and others like socialism in the GOP.
The White House race is already old...time to focus on the congressional races.

Does SC let Dems and Indep. vote or just all Pubbies?

Well, if in fact Fred does drop out, I would guess Rush is going to support Romney.
To: CedarDave
SC is an open primary but you can only vote in one or the other.

There is no reason to celebrate Duncan Hunter dropping out. He was, is and always will be a good man. If Fred also doesn't make it it will be a sad day for our country.

There is no such thing as registering with a political party to vote in SC.
To: Def Conservative
It seems the country is determined to vote for an “American Idol” rather that a presidential candidate.

I’m a Fred-head but the question for me is if he drops out , who has a shot at knocking either McCain or Huckabee out of the race nationally.
I’m thinking it’s Rudy right now. I also think he appeals to McCain voters and people who don’t dig politics but remember how he handled 911.
I saved my vote in case Fred didn’t do as well as I hoped. Now I’m trying to strategize. I’m wrong alot so I may be this time too, but I know people who left a Rudy event and went straight to the polls so that’s all I have to go on.

True. And more than a few Thompson supporters are just as obnoxious and unreasonable.

If the Dems vote today, they can’t vote next week.
