I think it’s a pretty smart to hesitate supporting someone who isn’t concerned with tax policy with regards to the $100K+ earners.

That’s pandering to the same group that the democrats love to pander to with regards to class warfare—those that think of anyone that works hard and is financially rewarded has “won Life’s lottery.”

The tax cuts on the upper income levels have been a hammer in the hands of the Dems for eight years - why give it to them (the Dems)? We have huge deficits, and raisng the tax on the upper levels is one way to deal with it. You don’t have to have a “class warfare” mentality to agree with that. I don’t hate the “rich,” but they can easily absorb higher taxes.
