“Oh get off it. Do you have any clue how many families have sons who don’t go into the military? Most of them. That isn’t the only measure of a man, whether he goes into the military or not. Otherwise, our country is just chock full of wimpy men who haven’t served. Geez....

Plus, he wasn’t “hiding” out in France. He was doing his service, which is required of young Mormon men that they spend a year (or 2?) doing missionary work for the Church. That is why he was in France. And each of his 5 sons would have had to have done so also. So, that is what they were doing when they were young men, they were doing God’s work. Got a problem with that?”

Being a Sunday School teacher is not equivalant to serving in the Armed Forces..How could you say such a thing ???

It doesnt qualify Romney to be the Commander in Chief of the US military...

He knows nothing about warfare...

Duncan Hunter has many years of experience both in and out of the US Army and his son is serving now...

I find your mode of communication to be unnecessarily impolite, but you’re free to think otherwise. You have a good evening there in sunny Florida.

It’s over for McCain!

That made my day!”

I agree. I’m starting to dislike Fox more and more. Up until now I really found it very hard to trust when they seemed to get geography and science wrong all the time. But now even the political coverage is so one-sided.

McCain was pretty cozy in the "Keating Five".

And the Gang of 14 wasn't inside Washington either was it?

So they think we're going to be split right down the middle of the country, hmmm? Guess I don't know the South that well. Didn't think they were that bigoted.

How about Bolton as VP in charge of “slash-and-burn-reinvention-of-government” and Ted Olson as the next SCOTUS justice?

Maybe they believe that American’s won’t vote for a Morman. You know how Democrats like to devide people with race, religion and gender.

This is just sad.

The NY Times has the Romney Wins headline.
But their photo is of McCain.

Could they get any more pitiful?

On just FR alone he has much support in mid and east coast.
My NJ and NY relatives support him and know others in their area who do also.

But then again my NJ ralatives go back to the 1600s and my NYC go back to the 1620s so they appreciate America

Did Frank Luntz go to a nut house to pick these people out?

They don’t sound too smart.

Well, this won’t be real popular with you and quite a few others, but here goes....

We all respect military service. It’s honorable. But this whole idea that military service is some overpowering qualification for public office above all others is getting tiresome.

Yes, it gives them insight others lack about the military. But it doesn’t trump all, including positions on issues and other experience, including private sector experience.

I’m sick to death of the fact that John McCain can’t utter two sentences without refering to his service record. That doesn’t make up for him being a global warming pandering, ANWR opposing, gang-of-14-member who opposed Bush’s tax cuts.

Mitt’s kids didn’t serve in the military. SO WHAT? Does that make them morally deficient? Hey, I’m a FRED supporter, but this whole “you-can’t-criticize-me-because-I served-in-the-military” thing is getting ridiculous.

Same thing with Hunter supporters. He was a paratrooper. GOOD FOR HIM! THANKS, DUNCAN! I’ll buy you a drink if I ever see you. That doesn’t make you qualified for the Presidency. This is directed more to his supporters than to him, because I don’t think he brings it up all that much.

People who volunteer in the military serve their countries. But guess what? People who run companies and create jobs serve their country too. We can’t all be Audi Murphy, after all.

Hank

What I wish Fred would say to Huck in the next debate:

In all due respect, Mike, your confusion between challenging your record and personal attacks is of concern. Not only that, but instead of directly responding to challenges to your record, you choose to engage in what can only be called questionable attempts at humor that wouldn't get play even during the Writer's strike. It certainly is disappointing to see this, especially from a man of the cloth, a self-touted Christian. Perhaps I'm a little grumpy... maybe I didn't get enough sleep last night... heck, I may even need some Metamucil. But, I do know the difference between challenging a record, personal attacks, and failed humor. And you, sir, are not ready to take the stage.

Mormonism is a tricky thing for Evangelicals, a heresy for many, no better than atheists for quite a few. Can you imagine a Baptist voting for an atheist? ...magritte

He said Huckabee is going to win SC. Talked about Rudy in a good light. Didn?t even mention Fred at all.

He (Morris) also said last night that McCain was going to win MI easily.

Wait while Nana climbs up and scrapes her cute eyebrows from the ceiling...

Why is it you mormons claim that anyone not chosing to vote for Romney are bigots and biased against mormons ???

Romney and Huckabee could go to the same church and I still wouldnt vote for him...

((( I AM NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR ROMNEY BECAUSE HE IS A RINO/LIBERAL )))
