OK MENSA.

Another refutation.

Bill 5120 Amendment from 2002 that had across the board cuts included such ‘non essentials’ as the COUNTERTERRORISM FUND, Unite States Customs Service (that prior to being consolidated with the Dept of Homeland Security a year later, was THE method used to keep out illegals and illegal products, such as explosives), the Secret Service, the National Security Council, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, the Air and Marine Interdiction Program, the Intraagency Law Enforcement, and the new Office of Homeland Security. Not exactly things that should have been cut following 911.

HR1. Hunter did vote for the prescription drug bill, as did 204 Republicans. 189 dems voted against it. Should he have voted for it? No, IMO. Now tell me which of your boys opposed it.

HR 4614, proposed by Bernie Sanders for alternative energy.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:

An amendment numbered 5 printed in the Congressional Record to increase funding for renewable energy programs by $30 million, to be offset by a decrease of $30 million from the Advanced Simulation and Computing program in the Weapons Activities budget.

Failed by recorded vote: 150 - 241 (Roll no. 321).

Hunter voted NAY

You are a lying SOS

H Con Res 95. from the Substitute spending bill for 2005:

“Defense: Accepts the President’s and Budget Committee’s levels that provide for a 4.4% increase over last year”

Hunter would accept no such limitations on Defense spending in the middle of two shooting wars. Subsequently, Bush requested a 7% increase over 2004, and Hunter pushed it even higher than that, from 401.7 billion to 445 billion, not including war supplementals.

Thanks for playing, now go back to the DU, dipstick.

From the State of California Website...CANDIDATE STATEMENT......because you won’t find it in the voters pamphlet and if you don’t look it up as a voter in California you’ll only know who is running by the media!

Duncan Hunter 9340 Fuerte Drive, Suite 302
Republican Party

I am running for President of the United States because I have the vision, experience and resolve necessary to lead this great nation. As a Vietnam Veteran and a Member of Congress for the past 27 years, I have always fought for the values that are important to the future of our country and I wish to continue working toward these important goals by serving the American people as their President. My national security and foreign policy is based on the concept of peace through strength. Our success in protecting America from terrorists is dependant upon our ability to obtain and utilize reliable intelligence data. Our national intelligence and defense communities must be provided with the tools necessary to identify, track, stop and prosecute terrorists before they have the opportunity to strike. Equally as important is the protection of America’s borders. I steadfastly oppose amnesty proposals and believe, as a matter of national security, we must enforce our immigration laws and secure our border by implementing the provisions of the Secure Fence Act calling for the construction of 854 miles of border fence along the five most prolific smuggling corridors on the Southwest border. As President, I will end the one-way street on trade and oppose treaties that infringe on basic U.S. sovereignty and adversely affect American workers, eliminate wasteful government spending, reduce taxes and work to protect the right to life for the unborn.

BTW, Hunter has a recent bill to try to correct some of the problems with the medicare prescription drug bill. (I’m looking for it!) Anyone else bothering to try to fix it?

Doesn’t matter what you post. There was a time on FR when that behavior wasn’t tolerated either.
