Absolutely. We have to reduce the number of immigrants and we have to be more careful re which ones we admit. No more radical Moslems, and no more of those who want welfare.

The best way to judge a “winner” is will it change a candidates numbers in the state? It’s doubtful that Huckabee lost any votes, nor did McCain. If anyone lost a few, it would be Romney, and they may gain Thompson a few votes. Giuliani lost none as well, and Paul, well....you know...

I was especially impressed that he was the only candidate to draw blood from Hucklebee.

Yes he did and how!

This debate tonight looked like a cabinet meeting in a Thompson Administration.

..and Paul is the butler assigned to fill water glasses. :->

Great line from McCain.

No just another bob and weave, if you can not blind them with brilliance, baffle them with BS. He did not answer the question.

WTH??? Great catch Azzurri. Love to hear your theory behind that. Plant to whisper in people’s ears? Voice loud opinions afterwards at Frank’s behest?

I can't take credit for that one. Another Freeper (not sure who) noticed that Luntz had some of the same people in his focus groups 4 months apart in NH and wondered how they could still be in the "undecided" group.

Only thing that scares me is Ron Paul - Loose cannon, he could pull a Perot on us

I have no feelings either way concerning you since I do not know you, but I do know what bothers you about my posts. Take this for what its worth, but I believe Romney supporters are so infatuated with the idea of the candidate that they can't see the ideas of the candidate (read that his record) are liberal. And they want to believe in him so badly that when anyone questions his credentials and state what he really is they are immediately labeled nasty and ignorant and bigoted.

So what I am saying is, my posts bother you because it flies in the face of what you dearly want to believe about Mitt.

Well- I’m a Republican, but not elite. And frankly, I am afraid of Huckabee. I don’t trust him. At all. He’s genial, amusing and likeable- but my gut always gets unsettled when I hear him.

To say they packed the room with Fred supporters because they all called him Fred is absurd. Everyone calls him Fred. It’s Senator McCain, Governor Huckabee, etc...and Fred.

You misheard him. He said we should "trust the Fred!"

I would trust Fred over the Fed, but I think Fred is too trusting of the Fed.

Re-Run of the 60's hippie scum (long hairs) vs. the "Regs", a Watergate re-run, Mano-e-Gyno Fred Vs. Hilda.

I've seen this one before, the Regs win....

Words versus Action. Saying what he knows people want to hear now versus what he did and said when he had power.
