I have no feelings either way concerning you since I do not know you, but I do know what bothers you about my posts. Take this for what its worth, but I believe Romney supporters are so infatuated with the idea of the candidate that they can't see the ideas of the candidate (read that his record) are liberal. And they want to believe in him so badly that when anyone questions his credentials and state what he really is they are immediately labeled nasty and ignorant and bigoted.

So what I am saying is, my posts bother you because it flies in the face of what you dearly want to believe about Mitt.

What I believe about Mtt is that he is a successful businessman who is an awful politician.

That is about the best thing that I can say about him.

Considering the field of likely winners, that is rather outstanding, though not especially qualifying for the office of President.

I am not infatuated by Romney. I'm not enamored to any of the candidates that I know much about.

I do not believe that Romney is a liberal at all. I think that he lied about his positions in order to obtain political office here, and that makes him no better than any other politician.

I just do not see any justifiable reason to slam the man so much just because he has lowered his standards in order to gain votes.

Heck around these parts, you can get away with lying, drunkenness, stealing, child rape, and even manslaughter while serving in elected office.

Mitt Romney may not be of a high standard where you come from, but around here, as a politician, he is practically a candidate for sainthood in comparison.

I’d like to see Thompson or Hunter win this year, but realistically, Mitt is probably the most likely as a possible winner, and in a few months, posts such as yours will maybe be used to help that shrew win it all.

Call me a compromiser, but I’d rather see someone like Romney as President than that efing skank Hillary.

All that I am trying to suggest is that FReepers tone down the anti-anybody (Republican) rhetoric
