LOL! That’s the truth! Several of my friends went to the local Catholic school. Believe me, no one I knew had ADD. I never misbehaved in school. Most of my teachers were friends with my parents and/or were members of our church, or were in my mom’s clubs. I knew I would get “told on” in a heartbeat. My parents were firm believers in following up with punishment at home whether it was talking out of turn in class or a bad grade.

AMEN!!!!! I went to a two room school,,,4 grades in one room and NEVER had any act ups like these kids today!!

Corolary to what I wrote above--fear of punishment is the ONLY thing that will get a 6 year-old to sit still for any length of time.
