That “Politico - Detailed Results” is a handsome piece of programming. Very nice.

Yeah. I think I'll be hanging on to that one throughout this (oh so long!) campaign year.

You don’t think the Clinton machine is capable of getting hold of ballots to stuff the boxes with?

Highly unlikely seeing as Rasmussen has Thompson in fourth with only 11% in SC.

10% of the votes in and Hill is ahead. Looks like it may not be the smearout we hoped for.

Big victory for McCain ... big loss for Romney ... just the way it is ... I support neither of those two.

I haven’t seen any exit poll reporting (in terms of projecting results). Have you?

I’m guessing the more rural areas are reporting earlier because of earlier poll closing times, that might favor old-time Yankees as opposed to YUPpies. OBambi would probably be stronger among the YUPpies.

“FredHead here, too, and no, I will not vote for McCain either. I suspect there are many of us that will not vote for McCain under *any* circumstances. Or Huckme either.”

Not even when Fred endorses him? Fred endorsed McCain in 2000, you know.

It's all about perception though. Mitt spent a lot of $$ in IA and NH. He was expecting to win both states. If he looses NH he most likely would lose MI and then going into SC the media spin would be that he's finished.

Well, there's perception and then there is reality. The reality is no matter what happens tonight, McCain is done. He can't win a republican primary where republicans are the voters, he can only win where independents have a loud voice. He is low on money and conservatives have lost all patience with the guy.

OTOH, Romney will have the money and the delegate count to run all the way through the tape.

I’m curious, why do you want Hillary and McCain to win in NH?

If the worst happens and a Democrat wins, Hillary will be better for seeing the Iraq/terrorism thing through. Put her meanness to good work. I think Obama is the worst nightmare of all on the Dem side. Well, maybe right after Kucinich.

I want McCain to win because I don't want Romney to win. It appears to be a race between those two.

I don't like either of them.

Only if you want to be disingenuous about it.

McLame didn’t go completely batguano until he lost in 2000. Prior to that, they were close, but still had significant disagreements. Now, there is no comparison. McQueeg is sitting there calling pharmaceutical companies ‘evil’ while warning us about global warming and calling for socialist workfare programs. That’s not Fred and never was. And you know it.

Thanks. Apparently McShame’s team is prematurely reading these polls and they’re already calling him the “MacComback kid.” Good grief if Hillary’s loss is less than 10% we’re told she will also crown herself the “comback kid”. Parallel universe?
