It's all about perception though. Mitt spent a lot of $$ in IA and NH. He was expecting to win both states. If he looses NH he most likely would lose MI and then going into SC the media spin would be that he's finished.

Well, there's perception and then there is reality. The reality is no matter what happens tonight, McCain is done. He can't win a republican primary where republicans are the voters, he can only win where independents have a loud voice. He is low on money and conservatives have lost all patience with the guy.

OTOH, Romney will have the money and the delegate count to run all the way through the tape.

I agree that McCain is done no matter what. That’s why I want him to win. No harm done and he can serve a good purpose by taking down Romney a notch or two.

-there was NO way McCain would quit before this “win”.......he will follow the pattern from the last election.....after all, what has changed? he lead the shamnesty till real Americans revolted. he has no real hope.

-we haven’t hit any of the states that count yet. patience is a virtue

McCain might be done, but Romney will be wounded. Rudy and Huck are still around too. You can’t tell me anyone in Mitt’s campaing thought he would lose IA, NH (probably) and possibly MI.
