Truth is FRiend. No matter what the outcome of New Hampshire is, Hillary will not give up until the house falls on her.

Clintons are pissed, it will be interesting to watch.

Yes, as has been posted on forum — maybe by you — this race is about mathematics more than momentum...:)

It's all about perception though. Mitt spent a lot of $$ in IA and NH. He was expecting to win both states. If he looses NH he most likely would lose MI and then going into SC the media spin would be that he's finished.

Remember, right now - before 8PM EST - it’s not 9% of all votes that have been counted; rather, it’s 9% of the minority of districts whose polls have already closed.

So that’s just a a couple percent of the total.

Reports can be wrong, but after hearing that NH dems were voting in “epic” numbers and running out of ballots, it is really hard to believe that was fueled by a countersurge for Hilary, based on the difference in crowd size, all the gaffes by Hilary, etc. But we soon will know.

It appears that a plurality of the (meager) results so far are from Candia - a rural but downstate town - more liberal than most.

I hope this isn’t too obvious or insulting, but precincts report non-randomly. It’s tough to reliably determine the trend based on such results.

No, it is 9%. Polls don’t report results at all until they close. 9% represents the # of closed polls.

FredHead here, too, and no, I will not vote for McCain either. I suspect there are many of us that will not vote for McCain under *any* circumstances. Or Huckme either.

“Before results started to come in Fox visited with Mitt and with McCain. Former was smiling, latter was scowling and winking.”

Everybody knows McCain’s a curmudgeon.... His grumpiness only aids his “maverick” image. But if he doesn’t win NH, he’s done. Until next election cycle anyway. But, by then, he’ll be, what, about 187 years old?

If New Hampshire does anything similar, then those absentee ballots will not fully reflect the Obama surge coming out of Iowa. And in that case I would expect Obama’s lead to grow as the night wears on.

IMO, you're underestimating the power of the Clinton machine and the New England sisterhood who will vote for Hillary in droves.

I'd guess about a dead heat on the dem side.

Which is a good thing for our side because if Slick Willy is any indication, the gloves are about to come off in the Dem primary.

Yuck, yuck!

I’m curious, why do you want Hillary and McCain to win in NH?

Romney can’t win in NH? He needs to drop out of the race.! McCain took the independent vote from Obama.

See I don't get that. They are very very similar.
