And he’s actually a moderate if you ask me, and to say he’s the most conservative in the field (along with Hunter)...shows just how pathetic this field is...
We need an email campaign to the GOP for giving us such a lousy choice of candidates.
I am die-hard prolife voter ALL my adult life........and I never said anything like that to you. There is always an exception to everything! ;^)
With Edwards, that depends on who can feather his nest best in the future, Obummer or Hilolita.
I'd have to go with Hillery. Edwards diesn't have much cotton in the third world vision that Obama represents.
But as you know that whole thing could change in 3 days.
Right now Edwards is in the sunshine, as a running mate to her nibs.
The hackles are up between the Obama and Clinton campaigns. Hillery looks like she cheated as shown by poll projectiosn which were extremely accurate on the republican side, but way off on the Dem side.
I hope it gets so bad that Obama will not be considered as a running mate by Hillery, and she picks Edwards, but you know, Hillery might pick Maddy Halfbright too!

After considering this some more, i believe it is major Fraud going on...The NH people should close their primaries to only voters who register 30 days in advance, as another FR poster has indicated, and allow only party registrants to vote in their particular primary...this day of registration and Independents voting for either party is for the birds...it smacks of the days back when JFK was running and some deceased votes were cast in Chicago...
This vote is a win for Hillary for the MSM will eat it up...but it is a real disservice to the many NH voters whp play by the rules...OTOH, is all politics just a game as the fraudulent cheaters seem to be saying ?..If it is we have advanced not one iota since the days of the Whigs and the Know-Nothings
I was saying to someone, he’s on the money on some things and could not be more wrong on others...it’s just the ones he’s wrong on would render the rest as superfulous...
I’m just looking for him t go away now and see that as more likely to happen with Guiliani beating him. He’ll probably stick around through Super Tuesday like everyone else....

Funny you bring up Ron Paul...Of all the candidates out there (even if you don’t like him or agree with him), he is the most consistent. Period. No flip-flops.
Now, is that better than someone who changes position like the wind and happens to agree with your view (this week)... probablt not...by much.
I hope he is dumb, because when you are wrong about so many things, if you are not dumb, you're evil! Dumb can be fixed, evil, not so much. Plus, I think that Huckabee is quick witted and clever. Now smart is good. But since the electorate is not so smart, witty and clever is better.
The bottom line for me is abortion. Until that is stopped and the SCOTUS Super Senate is neutered, everything else is simply rearranging the deck chairs.

The Republican primary was uncontested. Even so, George Bush managed to receive only 77.9% of the vote. There were just under 692,702 registered voters in New Hampshire for the Presidential Primary. New Hampshire neither purges inactive voters from its lists, nor identifies them. Using the same percentage of inactive voters from the Iowa lists, means that there were an estimated 634,515 eligible voters for the New Hampshire primary. The turnout was about 45.6% overall. About 29.8% of the Republicans voted, 79.0% of the Democrats voted, and 41.6% of the independents cast ballots. Of the voters who had no party preference and declared themselves for one of the parties on election day, 7,692 voted in the Republican Primary and 95,510 voted in the Democratic Primary.
Actually, Bill Clinton could be the Vice President. The 25th Amendment is so poorly worded that it bars a person from being elected president twice. Key word: elected.
If the sitting Vice President were to step down, Bill Clinton could be appointed Vice President. He could be confirmed by Congress, and would not have been considered to be elected to the slot. This could also allow him to be president again, because he would not have been elected to this spot.

I received that compliment a couple years ago. Another FReeper thought I was Rush and would not even accept my protestations! He wanted me to say something on the air that only he would know about so his wife would believe him. :) Again, I’m only a harmless little fuzzball from the Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies.
