Agree. It looks like the media want to elect Huckabee or McCain as the Republican Nominee. It looks like the best conservatives can get is a Romney/Hunter Ticket.

Wow! If people really believe that then that is staggering to me. I think the results of the American Civil War settled that question. Whatever people thought about secession in 1861, 1 million dead Americans should have settled that idea.

In fact there is a section in the 14th Amendment that bars southerners who participated in the Confederacy from holding office (unless pardoned).

It would be ironic if the constitution allows for secession and then punishes people who participate in such acts. Here is the quote from the 14th Amendment (Section 2):

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

John Edwards is insufferable. Absolutely insufferable. Nails on a chalkboard irritating.

Would he just please, please disappear?

If you don’t vote in Nov., you will be voting for Clinton.

I agree. I am voting for the GOP nominee, no matter what. Only for the sake of the troops. All of our viable candidates are better on the war issue than any of the dems. Our troops deserve a GOP president. We have to finish the mission we started so that our fallen soldiers did not die in vain.

Mitt’s closing the gap! I think he’s starting to come into his game. Mitt is the one all the opposition has been afraid of the whole time.

Yes, I assumed Taffini was referring to the Republican gap but I guess he or she is following the Dem race more closely.

6% with 60% reporting.

You are absolutely right. People, go back and read this long thoughtful post. It is worth it. We face serious damage if this message isn’t taken to heart.

Brain Wilson will have a hard time finding the Clinton voters, they have all been bussed back from where they came from - neighboring states and nursing homes...

Will anyone actually check the credentials of the last rush of registrants, see how many people who haven’t voted in years suddenly showed up today...

Now will Obama finally realize what he’s up against, the fraud and the dirt the Clinton’s employ to win. He better start loading buses if he thinks he has any chance in the other states. Here he was listening to professional pollsters and exit polls, thinking he would cruise by at least 5 %.. When he saw record turn out and all those old people, did he realize then, they were going to steal this away from him ???

He might squeak out a victory, but it will be deemed Hillary’s come back, just as scripted by her handlers. if they lost by 10 today she may have been finished, so they pulled out all they could.

What are the odds Obama doesn’t even have the guts to investigate thoroughly and expose the cheating she did. There’s no way the experts could be that right about the GOP numbers and miss the democraps by that much...

Romney is the weakest candidate in a November head to head matchup with Hillary ...

Romney would get crushed ... a flip flopping country club republican is not going to motivate people to vote or volunteer for him ...

He can’t even win a primary in his neighboring state ... Romney has spent over $50 million already on his campaign.!
