Game's ON... My prediction... Obama in a blowout, McCain by 5.
Amen! An unarmed invasion and occupation of this country has been underway for decades. Sadly, our leaders have at best looked the other way and at worst they have given tacit approval. It's time to put a stop to this!!
I don't like McCain at all but he is unfortunately polling well in the general election vs Obama and Hillary. I'll try to find some recent polls and link them.
Vote fraud
Awwww, c’mon. Vote fraud is a given. But what about the “tears gambit”? Did she get a sympathy vote on top of all those dead voters?
“Alright, who agrees that Hillary is doing a lot better than they thought she would because of the tears gambit? Or, because of the sympathy vote.”
Tears. She’s “human” now. No longer the ice queen. All those soft-hearted voters went “Awww.”
This is why Fred Thompson last night said if forced to place a bet he would take Hillary. The machine is strong. Win or lose this gets her to the big Feb 6th multi state run off.
All this talk shows what is getting horribly wrong with the process, a difference of 5-10k votes in small states like NH and Iowa totally set perceptions and the media, unable to think on their own keep changing sides. At the end of the day today, a difference of 8000 Democratic votes has totally changed the overall landscape of the Democratic race, That is scary.
Well, by the number of votes Rudy is getting, it looks like ALL he is getting is the homosexual vote.
Well said on all points. Ditto.
I wouldn’t classify my support of McCain as “slavish”.
Intersting that you say McCain was wrong on Iraq, please explain. Are you for pulling out?
I don’t think McCain is right on every issue or even a majority of issues. To me though, the war in Iraq is the #1 issue, nobody credible candidate with a shot of winning (which means get rid of Hunter)is as good as or better than McCain on that issue.
Only if she wins tonight.
1. McCain
2. Huckabee
3. Rudy
You may as well add Hillary and Obama to your non-choices.
If those are the "CHOICES" available, I'll pass. Thanks anyway.
Unfortunately, it’s mostly just the effect of the increasing percentage of the total count coming in. She’s held the 3.5 figure for over an hour, with the exception of a period of about ten minutes when Obama closed to around two thousand. There was then a sudden increase of almost two thousand votes in her total. So, anyway, 3500’s about where it’s been for quite a while.
I know it, and like it.
You know it, and obviously like it.
But there is a large segment on FR who have NO candidate, yet their main mission in life is to try and destroy the one Good and wholesome Republican candidate who can best bring the Party together in Nov. '08.
If it wasn't so sad, it would be hysterical.
By every calculation, Mitt Romney is the most competent, intelligent, healthy, well-financed, inspired Republican candidate we have going.
Why these Freepers want to destroy him is totally beyond my comprehension.
Hillary was measuring the WH for curtains.
What Obama has done in the past month is amazing. She may win but Obama has momentum and has captured the imagination of the dem party. Hillary is in deep trouble. I think she will win out in the end but will be wounded and forced to take questions thus increasing her disapproval and give us ammo for the general.
As much as I don’t like our field of candidates, I will vote republican no matter who is the nominee.
Odd thing, my head says no to Huck, an emphatic no. But I cannot help liking him. Something authentic about him. But I like easily. I find Obama likeable.
It is just too weird of a night, I know that the Clinton will do anything and everything to win. What about them firing their staff in the mornng? The new team coming in etc... And I heard Bill Clinton say today that it was great turnout and that he heard they were bringing in more ballots??? Wonder if Howard Dean brought in the extra ballots??
Were you listening to Rush Monday when he was talking to a Huckabee caller who asked Rush what would happen if evangelicals left the GOP? Rush repeated several times...”You don’t want me to answer that...”. He never did answer it.
I think I know what he thought the caller wouldn’t want to hear. With the Dems moving so far left, there are millions of centrist and independent voters who would move to the GOP...except for the religious right. I think that’s what he was getting at.
I think there might be something to it. I would happily support a Rudy or Mitt, knowing they would peel independents away from the Dems. I think it may be the only hope the GOP has in future elections.
and that is what percentage of the votes in... a little over half?
Maybe he'll listen to you... PLEASE convince him!
Yes, we'll be at CPAC! I'll give you our cell phone #s via FReepmail so you can keep in contact with us.
Curious dates for CPAC this year. We'll be voting on Super Tuesday literally on our way out of town heading to DC. Hope there aren't any snow storms in that scenario...
Socks?
It was on Drudge.
Why is it taking so bloody LOOOOOOOOOONG to count the Rep. votes??? It’s been at 46% forever!!!! >:-(
