Wait, how can this be? I thought Frank Luntz focus groups said Romney and Obama were the clear winners? Can’t they just fire that guy.

Willard lies to me and the rest of the voters about big, important things.

He can’t be trusted and people sense that. He can’t even win a neighboring state, where he has a home, that is filled with his fellow liberals (many from Mass.).

That’s pathetic, but very telling.

something happened for pollsters to all be so wrong. I do not trust Hillary at all... and I think they knew just what they were doing... why would this be so wrong?

McCain won in a NE state on the strength of Independent voters who a few days ago were saying they would vote for Obahma to pollsters. There is no data to indicate that any of these people would ever vote for McCain in a General Election.

In the closed Primary Red states, it does not look like McCain can win anywhere. The best he does is a distant 2nd.

So despite what your “freinds” are telling you, there is no data at all to support the claim that McCain can win a general election

Thanks, MG. It’s just so disheartening when you know there are a couple of really decent guys in this thing (Fred and Duncan) and the morons out there don’t see it and keep voting for these very flawed candidates.

Yep. With Mc you wouldn’t get a fence again regardless, forget any tax cuts, maybe some more 1st amendment restrictions and who knows what kind of judges (lots of immigration, torture questions i’m sure).

I really don’t think pollsters have figured out how to deal with the cell phone issue yet. An increasing percentage of the voting public now has no landlines.

I honestly don’t understand.

Iowa Republicans love Huckabee? New Hampshire Republicans love... McCain? McCAIN?!? Are Republicans in those states as stupid as the RATS? Why would ANYONE vote for a Bible-thumping, illegal-alien loving snake-oil salesman like the Huckster, or “Captain Queeg” McCain, who cherishes our first amendment rights about as much as the paper he wipes his butt with?

1,478 posted on 01/08/2008 6:40:02 PM PST by Pravious

Can’t independents vote in New Hampshire also, which explains McCain’s victory?

But it’s the liberal mainstream media lifting up the 2 most liberal/socialist/pro-illegal candidates McCain and Huckabee. Face it the liberal media is in the process of destroying the United States, the greatest civilization ever by destroying it’s capitalist economy.

Not all cases involve the executive branch. Also, he’d be on the court for life.

I do not care who wins among the democrats, in fact Hillary Clinton is not going to be elected President because she is the meanest and most unlikable person to run for President in decades.

A lot of election fraud went on if no id was required. Probably multiple voting.

I thought somebody on Fox said that one district broke 97% towards one candidate, which is unusual. Consider my suspicions slightly raised.

I heard 87%.

At this point though — unless Thompson breaks through — we are in for a LONG LONG 4 years no matter who gets elected! UGH... Talk about depressing...

There really isn't a conservative in the race is there? Apart from the comatose Fred Thompson.
