When Ron Paul Lunatics Attack (Ron Paul Lunatics Attack Hannity)
fimc.net via Hannity.com ^

Ron Paul Lunatics

Sean returns to his hotel after crazy Ron Paul protesters rallied outside of a restaurant he was visiting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Video Link: http://zshn.fimc.net//Article.asp?id=543226

--my comments--

According to Ron Paul forums, about 200 Paul supporters were part of this attack on Sean. They claim they were only throwing snowballs but the videos make it clear they were throwing bottles and other items other than snowballs.

Warning, foul language by Paul supporters.

Um, no. An angry mob would have been cheering the snow balls; in fact, it is more likely that an angry mob would have all participated in it. What you had happen was likely one idyot throwing them and AT LEAST one person telling him to stop.

Yep...that’s “mob mentality” at its best.

And that’s just for stretchers.

Where do you think all that money he has allegedly raised is coming from?

Small individual donations. He's median donation is $50 and mean is $140 IIRC. If he was being funded by specialist interest groups, his mean/median would be 4 digits.

You're trying to turn this from the Paulites' actions to Hannity's actions

Um no. I'm pointing out that ONE PERSON in the crowd appeared to behave more than poorly. That does not a mob make, nor angry mob for that matter, especially when it can be heard that at least one of the "mob" told him to stop.

Hannity's actions are a direct correlation to what he likely felt. Any doctor or psychiatrist will tell you that people normally behave in particular ways, especially if they feel threatened. Sean Hannity WALKED all the way to the building. He smiled as he entered. Likely it was masking the anger he felt.

I don't believe he felt threatened by an "angry mob" because I truly believe had he felt that way: 1) he would have ensured that there was greater distance between the woman and the "angry mob" 2) the woman would have been pulled away and protected, not continue following along behind him; 3) he (and she) would likely have run had they truly felt afraid for his life; 4) she likely wouldn't have turned around to say "stop it" if she felt her life was in imminent danger either because of glass bottles being thrown or because of the "angry mob."

Sure, and if special interest groups didn’t want to be identified as being a donor, they would certainly not come up with a way to hide it, right?

I’m sure they could, but why be that inefficient? There have been over 130k individual donors. I can’t imagine the paperwork required to hide that for Soros @ $150 when he could have just done $2300 and done it with 1/20th the # of donors.

How inefficient could it be when the desired outcome is to produce a split in the GOP and thereby get the dimocRat candidate elected? That’s what I see happening with Run Paul’s candidacy.

I would bet 95% of the money he has received was not from Soros but from normal people. He’s less of a splinter person than Guiliani or Huckabee.

You have much too much faith, my friend. A nothing, nobody representative from Texas, with zero name recognition prior to this election, and he is garnering nearly 20 million in campaign contributions? He’s raising amounts which rival Hitlery and Obama, two candidates with either big name recognition, or big name backers behind them? And you believe that Run Paul is raising this amount from just Joe Smoe on the street? Not buying that one.

Why is it so hard to believe that 130k Ron Paul fans are donating $150 each? He is not someone with zero name recognition, although he does have little but many libertarians and small government conservatives have been aware of him since the 80s.

When you show proof that any substantial amount of his donations are coming from left wing groups, I'll be happy to view the evidence; until then though all you have is mere outlandish speculation at best.

Fox has ignored ron paul?

Funny but they’re giving him the most exposure.

84%?

Where the hell did they come up with that figure?

Oh wait they gave the RINO McCain 88%, but only gave the vastly more conservative Duncan Hunter 62%

Just shows what the ATU’s slant is

“In this case, I actually watched the entire video - both of them.

Nothing was thrown. Someone said, if you throw snowballs you’ll get arrested.”

From post 153: “I heard him say that “you’ll get arrested for throwing snow.”

So IF your fellow paultards were NOT throwing anything as you have claimed, then WHY can you hear someone on the video CLEARLY state what YOU have quoted from the video?

And in the video you can clearly hear people dropping the “F” bomb numerous times such as “F*** you Hannity”, “F*** you Sean”, F*** Fox”, “F*** FoxNews”, “Hannity you f***ing A**hole”, etc, etc, etc.

I have 7.1 digital surround on this computer, and I can clearly hear the cussing amongst other things.

More like ECW wrestling events.

Note the sloped foreheads, mono-brows, and the dull expressions on their faces.

” So IF your fellow paultards were NOT throwing anything as you have claimed, then WHY can you hear someone on the video CLEARLY state what YOU have quoted from the video?”

I appreciate your service, but you sir are a Class A jerk for suggesting that people who support a candidate that is pro-life, pro-rkba, and pro-soverignty, are retarded.

Maybe someone was going to throw a snowball, and others told them not to? Nothing is visible being thrown. Hannity wasn’t hurt and wasn’t covered with snow.

If Hannity was really being attacked, why did he hide behind a woman?

“I have 7.1 digital surround on this computer, and I can clearly hear the cussing amongst other things.”

It’s stereo audio, not 7.1, so that’s meaningless.

No one else heard cussing further than ‘Fox news sucks’ which is pretty accurate.

So you are saying that its OK to throw snow at someone who does not agree with you but not rocks, OK how about bottles? Are billard balls OK? How about marbles? Can I use a sling shot? Please lay out just what is acceptable to throw so I know the rules.

My point is that what you throw is irrelevant. That you throw rather than argue points makes you a "stromtrooper". That Ron Paul failed to repudiate this nehavior sours me. If you are not going to be civilized in your arguments then please register as a democrat. This behavior fits in nicely with the foiks over at DU.

Come on Old Marine. A snowball toss is a big deal? I bet you would be laughing your a double off if it had been Hillary hit with one huh? Why I bet you could even have some old salty words for her to shout as well. Did you run home to mommy when someone hit you with a snowball? Fact remains not even Hannity is running with this article.
