His voting on the illegal immigration is usually taken out of context as he votes against numerous bills attached to spending increases that he otherwise would vote for (like for example AuntB listed he voted against a wall a few years ago but fails to mention he voted for it this year, I haven’t looked into it much but I’m sure there was more attached to it both times).

SJackson, do you happen to be listening to Boortz? Apparently he is an eye witness and agrees with the things being thrown and lots of cursing account. I am getting this second hand though, I would like to find someone who is actually hearing him on the radio now.
To: mnehrling
Well....I’d like to have some better video/audio then, as there was absolutely no sign of any kind of obscenities being made, sounds of glass breaking, or anything thing being thrown at him.
As was earlier observed, though I dislike Hannity, I do believe he would ensure that the woman standing in close proximity to him would have been shielded from harm by him or by his direction and she would have been pulled to safety into the building ahead of him.
That was also not observed on the video....just his “casual” walk into the building, along with his smile.

Navy Fighter Jets Crash in Persian Gulf (All Pilots Ejected Safely)" has 65 posts while this gay-ass thread is approaching 600. "Welcome to FreeRepublic 2008!"
Such a sad commentary on the state of things. Both here and across America.

I am no Hannity fan either by the way.

His voting on the illegal immigration is usually taken out of context as he votes against numerous bills attached to spending increases That is a possibility; however, it appears that he has often voted against bills proposed by conservative Duncan Hunter and in favor of or sponsorship of bills proposed by, for example, Loretta Sanchez, who only obtained her seat through an illegal election with illegals voting....that is my memory, as I had only recently moved away from So.Cal. at the time a good conservative man (B. Dornan) was thereby ousted.
To: nicmarlo
Well, he’d definitely eliminate any and all benefits immediately regardless. You are right though that Hunter is a far better presidential candidate than Paul, but Paul’s record on some of these conservative sites is distorted by he votes against them because they aren’t conservative enough.

They remind me of the brownshirts I read about that would attack the opposition back in pre-war Germany.
And they wonder why Ron Paul isn’t taken seriously.
I guess the “love revolution” means assault. Sounds Clintonian if you ask me.
To: nicmarlo
If you agree “100%”, then it would not make a fly-fart of difference if the Clinton or Carter administrations ever existed. Yes, Clinton and Carter did things to exacerbate issues and actually bring the mullahs to power in Iran, but that is not the issue. The real and sole issue is that this religion is violent and jealous of all others, in the extreme. Their hunger for power knows no end and their respect for human beings (especially women!) is zero. Their religion was initially spread by violence, intimidation and mob brutality. That has not changed since it began.
Dr. Paul willfully ignores these facts and would let this enemy detonate a nuclear weapon in the our country BEFORE he would act. In my opinion, that would be too late.

Pauls record on some of these conservative sites is distorted by he votes against them because they arent conservative enough. I speculate that may often be the case. I am more than troubled, however, that he would not support almost any bill that Duncan Hunter proposed, sponsored, voted in favor of, but would side with, what appears to be, more liberals consistently, in areas (that Hunter didn't).
To: nicmarlo; AuntB
AuntB, do you have that article link from the Houston Chronicle a few months ago that had Paul’s comments about immigration from the 90s in it?
Nicmarlo, his immigration stance he has now is pretty new. Up until a few years ago, he took the classic libertarian stance that the ‘US should NOT have a national immigration policy and should welcome anyone who wants to come here to work in.’ I’ve pinged AuntB for the source article & quote.

LOL!
Its fun to watch Paultards become militant in their anger against things militant.
After reading some of the Paultard comments on Youtube, I will always be specially prepared defensively, if I am ever around this crowd.

AuntB has already made me aware of these...I read dozens of them which she posted....it is thanks to her that I am aware of his past v. present stance on immigration.
