When Ron Paul Lunatics Attack (Ron Paul Lunatics Attack Hannity)
fimc.net via Hannity.com ^

Ron Paul Lunatics

Sean returns to his hotel after crazy Ron Paul protesters rallied outside of a restaurant he was visiting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Video Link: http://zshn.fimc.net//Article.asp?id=543226

--my comments--

According to Ron Paul forums, about 200 Paul supporters were part of this attack on Sean. They claim they were only throwing snowballs but the videos make it clear they were throwing bottles and other items other than snowballs.

Warning, foul language by Paul supporters.

I do my best. I reserve my vitriol for crevo and Confederacy threads. ;)

(George W. Bush was also unfailingly polite. I didn’t see what happened to get him banned.)

“I would have shot a few of them.”

Then there was post 222, where another poster said that the son of a FReeper should “burn in hell” for supporting Paul.

Yet it’s the Paul supporters who are violent and nuts?

I haven’t seen a single condemnation among the Paul-haters on this thread, of these posts - only lies about things being thrown, when the video clearly shows nothing of the sort.

Not surprised. The anti-Paul crowd are full of vitriol and hateful spittle....on every thread.

Extremely tacky picture. As a non-murderer who favors Paul, I am quite offended.

I think you should ask the mods to remove it.

Perhaps the majority of your local Paul supporters are smarter than to deface their cars with stupid stickers that will be irrelevant in a year and are next to impossible to remove.

“EEE, I’m trying to be fair to everyone but your making excuses for everything Ron Paul has just gotten pathetic. A pack of loud, angry, cursing youths throwing stuff and chasing a guy down the street is vile, period.”

Please watch the video again, and respond with either the minutes/seconds of one item being actually thrown, or one curse word.

If you can’t find one, I expect an apology.

Funny, I have yet to get a single response to my many challenges to others on this thread.

If you can demonstrate any frames with objects in the air, I will condemn it.

If you can make out the crowd chanting anything more “vile” than “fox news sucks” (which it does), I’ll say it’s rude and inappropriate.

Otherwise, you recant and apologize.

Deal?

The remind me of Miers supporters, from times past.

Please be so kind as to ping me...as I would also like to know how my own EYES AND EARS did not detect ANY OBJECT being thrown nor curse word being said or directed toward Sean Hannity, as he WALKED and SMILED as he entered the building.

I condemn what this ill-mannered bunch of brats did.

But what did they do besides follow Sean Hannity chanting FOX NEWS SUCKS? What if it were shillery or bjclinton who were being followed? That is not to say that a group of people following someone isn't unsettling, and they could have NOT followed Sean (a better choice, imo), but they did nothing, from what I could see, ILLEGAL, nor threatened to harm him, verbally or physically.

However, the thread claims, as do many others, that the group was throwing snowballs to rocks to making actual threats and using curse words.

So...which is worse? LYING about and MISCHARACTERIZING the group's actions and behaviors....or following someone while making a truth chant (FOX NEWS SUCKS)?

My dream would be a Thompson/Hunter ticket,

Now there's a ticket I could unabashadly support.

I really can't understand why Fred hasn't gotten more traction. Oh well, it's still early in the process.

Best to you.

There are at least two possibilities: 1. You saw a shortened or different video. Look around the one I saw clearly have heavy flat missles flying at Hannity.

2. You have chosen to follow your leader at any expense... to make any excuse. That crowd had far more in common with the Nazi SS than the Republican Party and if that is the new face of the conservative republican movement it will have to do without me.

I'm no FOX News fan, not a Rudy supporter, and rarely a listener of Hannity but certain behavior is wrong and those punks in that crowd should be loudly repudiated first and foremost by Ron Paul.

Last night Ron Paul was a guest on Jay Leno’s show. As always, Ron is a good guest and with large rounds of ovation.

Jay questioned him about the unfairness of “Faux” news omitting him from the N.H. debates and also stated that he (Jay)thought it unfair and was the reason he was asked to be on his show. Poll numbers were given showing Paul’s were higher than Guilianas. Jay wanted Ron Paul to give the exact reason he was excluded from the debate but he wouldn’t do that. Ron Paul did mention the possibility of a law suit against Fox News as they are supposed to be the station that adheres to the motto “We Report, You Decide.” The audience laughed at the phrase,”we report, you decide” as if it were a joke.

Fox News was booed big timeon the Jay Leno show last night. LOL! I wonder if Britt Hume will have a snipet of the jokes on the Jay Leno show today. Ha, Ha.

Ron Paul had large rounds of applause.

IMO, we should never let a news outfit have any control over our elections like Fox News. Fox News is totally biased. They remind me of Walmart when the Walmart slogan was “Made in the USA”.

You have chosen to follow your leader at any expense

You see, that is yet another FALSE CHARGE. Paul is not my leader, I don't recall EVER stating I would vote for him. There is a great deal I agree about with his statements.

The video that this thread links to is what I watched. There is NOTHING on that video that shows any kind of violence, violent acts, cursing, or intimidation. It does show Sean Hannity WALKING and SMILING as walked into the building, not the actions of a man who was afraid or even harmed.

FOX NEWS SUCKS.

I stopped watching it.......YEARS ago (as in 3). They showed their hand even before back then....I’m glad that FINALLY more conservatives are waking up and smelling the coffee.

The only thing I’m trying to defend is the ridiculous hyperbole in the first post and the claims of glass/rocks being thrown.

As I said and others heard and agreed, you can hear someone yell right around the one minute mark 'don't throw rocks, throw snow, throw snow...' even on RonPaulForums.com and on the YouTube comments there are comments about it.

At that, if you look at the paul forums, a lot of people are praising actions like this and pushing Paul supporters down for saying it was poor form.
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=80573

But I understand why you repeat it over and over, that is how it happens, if you say something enough, no matter if it is true or not, you may get one or two people to believe you... sounds like the whole campaign, find an excuse for a stupid statement, truther connections, or nazi support and repeat that excuse over and over and over and over....

Jay,s show was a good show last night.

Apparently, more people agree with you that “Fox News Suckss” than don’t. The applause was huge against Fox News last night.
