According to Ron Paul forums, about 200 Paul supporters were part of this attack on Sean. They claim they were only throwing snowballs but the videos make it clear they were throwing bottles and other items other than snowballs.
Warning, foul language by Paul supporters.
Yet again, there is no cursing in the video.

No national candidate in my lifetime has had so many lifeless sheep following him with nothing better to do than lie their way onto radio talk shows, disrupt the taping of television shows, spam every other YouTube thread, put stickers and posters all over public transit, billboards, newspaper machines, street signs and light poles, and harass people who are minding their own business for the crime of disagreeing with them in public.
And they somehow think this is going to change people's minds about Paul. Well, my mind has been changed. I used to think he was one of those people who took a principled stand for the Constitution as written. But as he keeps his trap shut about the looneys and losers he attracts, I changed my mind. I don’t have a link, this was first hand, in person. On more than one occasion. I have talked to few RP supporters that weren’t hostile to non-supporters.
Online, different story. I have spoken to more than a few that are if not pleasant people to speak with, at least they don’t give off a “kooky/dangerous” vibe.

Then why is it that there are people that can be heard on the video saying “stop throwing snowballs?” (approximately 1 min 6 seconds into the you tube video)
I don’t see what Sumter has to do with the post you are responding to. His point was that slavery would have eventually gone away with or without the civil war, just like it did in every other country.

Fort Sumpter was inside South Carolina, which had seceded.
The Confederacy tried to buy Fort Sumpter and negotiate a peace treaty with Lincoln. He refused on both counts.
The rest, as they say, is history.

I might add RE: Snowballs that several Paulers said stop throwing snowballs or snow balls. But the lies in the first post are cursing, rocks and glass. Obviously a single snowball doesn’t sound nearly as bad as the original poster tried to make it out to be.
