Ron Paul Lunatics
Sean returns to his hotel after crazy Ron Paul protesters rallied outside of a restaurant he was visiting in Manchester, New Hampshire.

--my comments--
According to Ron Paul forums, about 200 Paul supporters were part of this attack on Sean. They claim they were only throwing snowballs but the videos make it clear they were throwing bottles and other items other than snowballs.
Warning, foul language by Paul supporters.

Try talking to some of these A-holes. Theyre a species all their own. Just talking to some of them here on FR is a good indication of that.

“Yes, but so many Ron Paul supporters post rudely at people right from the start, thereby removing themselves from serious consideration. “
I invite you to cite an example. You can start with any rude comment I have made to you. It should be a short post, since I haven’t made any rude comments to you.
“Again, your charm has precluded any serious discussion with you. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.”
No, you’re bowing out because what I challenged you to do can’t be done, because what the originator of this thread claimed, didn’t happen.
“Unfortunately, people like you tend to be the majority of the Paul supporters. Such a shame.”
To think that Paul is only #3 on my list! I must be a rude Hunter or Thompson supporter before I’m a rude Paul supporter. So now I guess you get to pick on them.

Some members of Daily Paul forum denounced this. I was just reading the comments as I'm not a poster there, so there's no link. That's really good news. It commends them.

Yeah, and I'm sure after the rally Ron and Carol Paul invited them over to dinner and to take part in a lynching. *GRINS*

But for the record, I'm not supporting Paul's Presidential run. I'm an unabashed FredHead. Ah. As am I. Duncan Hunter most closely mirrors my own views, but Fred is certainly close enough. My dream would be a Thompson/Hunter ticket, but I won't hold my breath.

Regardless, that makes your son a traitor and he, like all other traitors, ought to burn in hell.Man, that hate is really exclusive to the Paul people.

- People make up BS threads about Paul
- They get posted to, and left in, Breaking News
- People pile on without reading the original article
- Anyone who calls BS is called a Paultard or worse Let me add to that:
- Paul supporters respond with the facts
- Paul bashers whine and start pinging the Mods
- Good FReepers get banned or suspended
- The cycle renews

The war in Iraq, besides the initial week there, has been handled really poorly till Patreaus has been in charge. My officer friends in Iraq and those back now do not think the nation building would have needed to have happened on the scale that it did if someone like Patreaus was in charge from the start, and not Rumsfeld.
If you will recall, we did stay out of WW2 for quite some time until Japan attacked us, mainly to the conservatives who were still very much in favor of the Monroe Doctrine still at the time. I'm quite certain after the bombing of Pearl Harbour by Japan that Paul would have declared war against Japan.

Everytime I see how CFR is running our lives, I wonder to which volume of the Code of Federal Regulations they are referring!!!!Oh, I thought they were talking about Campaign Finance Reform from McCain.

Do you see what all the Anti-Pauls start with or just the people defending his overall positions (Note that I disagree with him on Iraq, for example)? The Anti-Pauls on this forum started the name calling a long time ago. If the words kook, traitor, looney and truther arent ALL mentioned within 10 posts, Im usually disappointed. Generally the name calling by some on the Paul said, or people defending Paul to any degree, isnt till far later if ever except for perhaps Neo-Con which is generally true. That does not excuse somebody coming out and being rude and snotty to a poster who hasn't done all of that (well, not yet on this thread.)
And yes, I've been called "neocon," "statist," "warmonger," "big-government lover" and much, much worse by Paul supporters. All simply because I do not support Ron Paul.
Unfortunately, it is the sort of thing I have come to expect from the Paul crowd.

Identifying them for who and what they are is not pathetic. Its realistic. Hyperbolic generalizations of a crowd is realistic?

Most people who are in favor of going to war all over the world are in fact neo-cons. Paleo-conservatives generally do not like to go to war for any reason unless directly attacked by said country (or immediate knowledge of upcoming attack). This goes back a long, long way in US history from before WWI and at the start of WWII. I don’t really consider that name calling anymore than calling you calling me a libertarian is. You are right though that in general name calling does little to further a cause or the debate in general and no it’s not excusable.

This is remarkable. It looks like a faction of the MoveOn, ANSWER, WorldCantWait loonies have taken up carrying American flags and Ron Paul posters, and are attacking conservatives because...they dismiss The Paul (PBUH) as being a wacko, marginalized candidate.
These are the same losers who used to chant, "Hell no, we won't go!". But now they rampage cloaked in the flag. Ron Paul needs to fire all of his voters.

Why did you ping me to that and when did I say that???It was the dope upthread that posted that. I certainly didn't want to accuse you of such. I was just pointing out that when it comes to Ron Paul, a lot of people are a$$holes, regardless of whether they like him or hate him.
