According to Ron Paul forums, about 200 Paul supporters were part of this attack on Sean. They claim they were only throwing snowballs but the videos make it clear they were throwing bottles and other items other than snowballs.
Warning, foul language by Paul supporters.

I do like Fred Thompson (he’s my 2nd pick behind Hunter;, I should have been more specific in that the party elite currently do not talk about it and that nothing has been done except 2 tax cuts (but no budget cuts). If Thompson DOES get nominated and actually put his ideas in front of congress, I’d be very happy.

This was not assault. They were chanting Fox News Sucks (It has for years, since it became the 24/7 car chase/natalie holloway/britney and paris news/anna nicole channel), telling Hannity, the backer of pro-abortion, illegal-loving, anti-rkba Rudy, that he’s not a great American, and following him.

I’d gladly get out and support that team here in NC although we’re usually pretty reliable to vote Republican regardless at the presidential level (although we always elect Democrat governors for some reason).
