You might be onto something. Rudy(p)/Duncan(vp) with Romney as press sec.

Exactly. What if folks had said that about Reagan? That because he had once been a Democrat, then saw the light to become Republican, they wouldn’t vote for him anyway because he would go Democrat again once in office? Didn’t happen. It’s a dumb argument, anyway...:)

Your opinion, but I picked Romney back in the spring or early summer. Amazing how it is playing out!

I support Huckabee. You call him Huckster.

Would you mind others calling Fred “Dred?”

You probably will say you wouldn’t. But deep down you would.

I wouldn’t want him there- but he might be a good AG- he’s tenacious.

I believe Thompson was on Reagan’s Foreign Relations Committee.

OK!! Finally! Someone on this thread I agree with. I’ve been getting pounded over and over again for pointing this out in bits and pieces. But even more important than anything you wrote, Rudy can beat Obama and Hillary, prevent a 3rd party Bloomberg intervention, and probably attract some Reagan Democrats.

Fox News Focus Groups Problem With Fred Thompson...

“I just wanted to shake him and wake him up”

“He didn’t talk about health care”

“He didn’t talk about specifics”

LOL.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? These are the people voting for the next leader of the free world?

Fred Thompson spoke clear and steady and didn’t get all souped up and excited whenever it was his turn.

Healthcare? This is a Republican? There wasn’t even a question on Healthcare! Nobody talked about Healthcare!!

He didn’t talk about specifics?? He outlined his plan on Social Security?, Taxes?, Guantanamo Bay?

It’s pretty clear that A) Fox News is in the tank to BURY Fred, and B) Romney supporters at that “focus group” are completely retarded. You Myth lovers must be proud to be in that company.

That nonsense screams FOLLOWER, not leader....Mitt and GUBERnator and Mr. Stockholm Syndrome!

No disagreement from me.
McCain has caused far too much pain.
Time for him to hang it up.

The Fredster sounds pretty good. Or, we can just refer to him by his middle name, Dalton.

It wasn’t on the TV feed (I don’t pay for cable news channels anyway), but they were doing a trial run on the internet feed, and he must have forgotten or just not known the live stream was going out on the internet (I would think by now an experienced journalist as him would know that). Chris Wallace on the split screen was as shocked as we were. Nothing was mentioned following the slip, except here of course.

I am not interested in simply slowing the hemorrhaging of rights, and that’s all that will be accomplished by a RINO. If rights are to be eliminated, let it be immediate and devastating so as to wrest people from their political lethargy. I am looking for actual restoration of individual liberty, and that can only happen with a conservative.

TheLion, I picked Mitt september-october 2006,researched him myself after I saw rudy brag about taking good care of his illegals.
The polls were close, Mitt seemed to be heading up again already, here is hoping he wins.

Remember, despite their good record on taxes, New Hampshire is a liberal state. Don’t expect the Conservatives to do well there.
