Now McCain following Fred's lead. ugh.

No doubt Fred doesn't get exposure. But tonight, there was only one time when anyone challenged Fred on his replies, and it was only a half challenge by Mitt.

Romney echoing Fred..

I noticed he does that when he talks after Fred. This is not the first time...several have adapted some of Freds positions and talk.

Do you think Mitt did well enough to beat McCain Tuesday?

Final Scorecard :

1. Fred - Once again came across as the adult among a bunch onf Bickering children. Was basically ignored by Chris, but was clear, concise, and on target when he did speak.

2. Mitt - He is in his element in a debate, no doubt. he gets second on style more than substance, but he did a solid job again. Did not hurt himself

3. Rudy - Was not great, but no major screw ups. Basically, Rudy is what he is, you either like him or you don't. There is no flash or slickness like Mitt, but also no bumbling like the next two I will cover.

4. John - Was exposed once again as a pro=illegal, moderate RINO. He was not as nasty as last night, but still took it on the chin more than he gave.

5. Huck - Sorry, he was totally swamped tonight. He looked in above his head even more than he has in the past.

“he put the issue to bed by unleashing, “I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience.” Mondale could only laugh along with the audience.”

I have seen that clip - Mondale laughing along is just classic. I was too young to know how it came across at the time.

“You are exactly right. The Romney Sleaze Machine extends to his FR supporters (not all but a lot of them).”

And that coming from the king of sleaze, you. All you do 24/7 is slam Romney. You are filled with unsurpassed venom, on a daily basis for the man. Sick.

I agree... I thought Mitt was too slick to even consider, but I’ve been impressed with him these past two days. I would prefer Fred... but Mitt would be an acceptable candidate for me.

“Did you notice that Chris did not have a gotcha question for Fred? I bet he couldn’t come up with anything? LOL”

Excellent point. Fred has no negatives.
