Problem is, that might sell in NH, whereas it will not in Iowa or South Carolina.

Having a senior moment. What was it again? Something about his demise being exaggerated or was that someone else??

If trying to have a sober discussion of the issues is going to keep Fred from being elected, then the real loser is this country, not Fred.
Fred eschews the Beauty Contest, and that is refreshing.
To: AGreatPer
I like Fred's comment that being elected is "not about his personal aggrandizement".
None of the other candidates can say that.

Apparently you are having a difficult time hearing the candidates.
No. I am having a problem with stupid people who have no idea what conservatism is and are supporting candidates that are only marginally to this side of Ted Kennedy.

Fred just closed with patriotism to his country, hope for our children and dignity.

Mitt makes me think of Black Beauty.
He’s a fox.

Exactly, like you have said before we will probably never know the tire numbers but close approximations are key when well sourced.

As a former Arkansan myself, the only people who had Huckleberry bumper stickers were Democrats. That’s why he was able to get reelected in Ark. because the southern Democrats are like two peas in a pod with Huck.

I give Mitt points for staying composed and really going after Huck, which made Huck look like a lightweight. But its the answers to questions that put Fred first.

With the media speculating whether Reagan's age had made him unfit for office, he put the issue to bed by unleashing, "I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience." Mondale could only laugh along with the audience.

Al Gore could not even carry Tennessee when he ran for President..his own home state. No worries of that with Fred; and don-o says you can book that!
