Fox News Channel; Roundtable format
Candidates the gatekeepers are allowing to participating:
That’s It,,could not remember the name..,,on my list to Santa..
What a LIAR. McCAIN. You know he would push for and sign blanket Amnesty within one month of being sworn in. Then, Millions More would come to the US as relatives. We would be completely overrun.
Huckabealying his Huckabilly butt off.
McCain’s position is that if there is some penalty that the illegal immigrants have to pay, then it’s not amnesty.
Well, the monetary amounts that were specified in the CIR bill were fees, not penalties. If they were penalties, it could be argued that they were ex post facto penalties.
McCain is wrong.
Fred on “change” was a HOME RUN.
“Change has been the talk of elections since the dawn of elections if you’re not an incumbent...”
Then a great speech on speaking truths.
New campaign slongan: “Fred Thompson: An Adult Speaking the Truth”
Hank
Tell the amnesty like it is, Mitt!!!
Is this the McCain/Romney show? Come on, lets give the other guys a chance.
"The difference is that President Reagan called this what it was: amnesty. Indeed, look up the term "amnesty" in Black's Law Dictionary, and you'll find it says, "the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act provided amnesty for undocumented aliens already in the country."
"Like the amnesty bill of 1986, the current Senate proposal would place those who have resided illegally in the United States on a path to citizenship, provided they meet a similar set of conditions and pay a fine and back taxes. The illegal immigrant does not go to the back of the line but gets immediate legalized status, while law-abiding applicants wait in their home countries for years to even get here. And that's the line that counts. In the end, slight differences in process do not change the overriding fact that the 1986 law and today's bill are both amnesties."
McCain and Romney are both wrong on immigration.
Is Mary Matalin still working for Fred?
YES.
Maybe a hearing aid is in order?
Ooooh!
50 cent word!
Ch Ching!
Don’t see it. One thing tonight...seems like Fred is a lot smarter then his counterparts.
I graduated college long ago. But I will vote for whoever the ultimate nominee is. I’d prefer that it not be Huckabee or McCain.
I’d be OK with McCain if both houses of congress were solidly republican. I don’t trust McCain with close houses or with Democrat houses.
You are aware the Massachusetts is a thoroughly liberal backward state?
And certify that the borders are secure? How much is THAT going to cost? Why not just determine that by illegals not getting across?
Amnesty is amnesty John....you can’t get out of this one!
