Huckabee Lies again: Said he supported the surge when Romney didn't
Red State ^ | Jeff Fuller

Posted on 01/06/2008 1:55:42 PM PST by Gipper08

In tonight's debate Mike Huckabee accused Romney of not supporting the troop surge when he did: "I supported the president in the war before you did. I supported the surge when you didn't."

Transcript:

One Year Ago, Gov. Huckabee Did Not Offer His Support For The Surge:

MSNBC's NORAH O'DONNELL: "We have a Rudy Giuliani, who supports the president's plan on Iraq. We have Governor Mitt Romney, who also supports a troop surge. How are you different from any of those candidates."

HUCKABEE: "Well, I'm not sure that I support the troop surge, if that surge has to come from our Guard and Reserve troops, which have really been overly stretched."

Huck's a freakin LIAR. He proves it once again.

Want to revise that critique of Romney Gov. Huckabee?

This guy has no shame (but his fawning masses of evangelicals will give him a pass on this too, I'm sure).

Nice try, he is a pro life federalist. He is endorsed by National Right to Life and Citizens for Life, they will not support pro-choice candidates.

"I supported the president in (his arrogant, bunker mentality)* war before you did."

*Ref:

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Republican Mike Huckabee is questioning the Bush administration's policy on Iraq, criticizing what he calls the White House’s “arrogant bunker mentality.”

He realy ought to include some ginko biloba in his diet.

I think what we have here is a case of Romney supporters jumping to useful conclusions. Huckabee didn't say he was against the surge, He said he was against sending more guard and reservists back over there.

But if you guys want a Mormon who supports abortion when he's surrounded by democrats in Mass. then you will get a loser in the national election.

>>>>Once again the huckster is exposed as a liar.

I attended one of the Iowa Caucuses (as an out of stater). Huck's speaker said that Huck was the only one who supported a Federal Marriage Amendment. Just another lie about Romney.

I trust Romney’s walk with Him as much as I trust Huck’s.

Neither one has shown me any fruit.

Huck would lose 50 states
